I like the buying experience at CarMax overall. this is the 3rd car i’ve purchased there. the simplicity is nice. i’m not a fan of the hidden damage that’s not disclosed on these cars. this purchas this is the 3rd car i’ve purchased there. the simplicity is nice. i’m not a fan of the hidden damage that’s not disclosed on these cars. this purchase had 2 decent sized dents that were not documented and tires with sidewall tears. this was to “CarMax standards”. i’m not sure if i will buy another car through carmax after this. Over all this was a good dealership. There were some issues with ant infestation in a car that was reserved and scheduled for a test drive. We had an outstanding experience. We saw a car at another Car Max in the LA area and they brought it to Riverside for us at no cost within.a couple days, no commitment. We went there We saw a car at another Car Max in the LA area and they brought it to Riverside for us at no cost within.a couple days, no commitment. We went there in the evening and there was absolutely no pressure. They let us look at the car and others without following us around and trying to sell us on anything. When we asked to test drive the care we came for they let us take it out without anyone from Car Max, for up to 30 mins, alone, so we could really get a feel for it. We came back, told them we wanted it and there was no "extra warranty" or "paint coverage" ect that they tried to sell us like so many dealerships we had visited (that was so annoying to deal with elsewhere). Then I found out the cars they sold all had a 10 day return and a 90 day warranty with them, at no cost. What a great deal. I have raved about CarMax to everyone I tell about our new car. I will definitely be coming back. More
