Although I appreciate Shawni and her supervisor helping me purchase a car, I took it to my mechanic and there were several things wrong with it. The tire light came on after I left rhe dealership. This has happened a couple of times before with other dealerships, so it doesn’t help my relationship with carmax. I don’t have a lot of respect for the company. It cost me $170 out of pocket to get the car checked by my trusted mechanic and the time, $ and effort to go back to carmax to get it fixed then have my mechanic look at it again is costly, disappointing and frustrating to me.Finally, how would Carmax executives, supervisors or employees like it if my tire was not working properly and I got into an accident with one of them? How would the executives, supervisors or employees and their families like it if they were seriously injured or killed? I know I don’t like the thought of that, so you decide Carmax, what is the cost-benefit ratio to you? Carmax’s image, reliability, revenues or your livelihoods? Pick one. You can’t have it all when I get a defective product and it’s a risk to public safety. More

Excellent. My battery needed replace within 24 hour of purchase 4/8/2026, service department employee was rude so much I did not want her to help me, I was given Steven Dena which was great because he was helpful. There was another issue the replacement of two hitch cover service order RO#346755 on 4/9/2026, I have been waiting and was told today the part was returned because allegedly when they called I told them I did not want the repair, which is a blunt lie. The representative who sold me the car Ramiro Avila was upset about this missing part he said he would have seen it before giving me the car he also starting question where I had been with the car, the neighborhood I live as the reason the hitch was missing, he went as far if accusing me of stealing the part. He even told Steven Dena these allegations and that is why I believe the story that I refuse the part is a lie. More
