Takes advantage of first time buyers Have car under 6 months and have put out $2000.00 in repairs. Have the Maxcare plan and nothing is covered. CarMax said it's not their problem after 90 days. A professional car company should know how to calculate registration costs in a state 90 miles away, or at least get within 3%, not 12%. Everyone I spoke with had the same attitude. You signed the contract now deal with it. There was no admittance of error or apology. Apparently this must be their common method of ripping off customers from neighboring states.
