My wife and I went to CarMax Serramonte to find a vehicle to purchase, we were met with Sheena Mayorga who helped us find the right vehicle for us. Everything was a smooth process and experience up until the point of actually purchasing my vehicle. CarMax had neglected to reset or disclose that there was an issue with the password connected to the med the point of actually purchasing my vehicle. CarMax had neglected to reset or disclose that there was an issue with the password connected to the media console, which could only be reset by Toyota itself. As such, I was unable to use any radio, bluetooth, CarPlay, and other features of my car for a week. I would check with CarMax that any vehicle you purchase, check for any accounts registered to the vehicle and make sure they are cleared by CarMax prior to purchase so you do not have to fix it yourself. As a customer, I was highly disappointed with this oversight on CarMax's part as it ruined the overall customer experience. I was able to get it resolved only a week later and through their reimbursement. Please be diligent in your inspection process as this goes for the consumer and dealer. Otherwise, it was a straightforward process. More
