Ultimately, I decided not to sell to CarMax (bought a new car and the dealer offered me the same amount in trade-in so it was easier to do it all in one transaction), but I would highly recommend CarMax Schaumburg for buying or selling a car. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional, the appraisal was handled in a timely manner, and Naru was a pleasure to talk with - he offered me good advice on car buying in general, which I really appreciated. Honestly, the whole car shopping experience isn't the most pleasurable, but Naru and his colleagues at CarMax were a bright spot, even if I didn't sell them my old car. More

Carmax of Schaumburg has a great salesperson in Barrett Ullrich. He was very courteous and helpful. He spent a lot of time with us to research a specific vehicle that we were interested in at another Car Ullrich. He was very courteous and helpful. He never pressured us and answered all of our questions, going above and beyond what we expect of a typical salesperson. In the end, through no fault of his, we did not purchase this vehicle. But we would definitely recommend this salesperson and this dealership to others as it was an overall good experience. More
