The car I purchased was handed to me straight from someone’s driveway. No cleaning or detailing. The previous owner’s registration and mail was still in the glove box. Check engine light came on day 4 of having the car and 10 days later, I’m still waiting for it to be fixed due to service department rescheduling. This Carnac customer service has gone down hill and I’m sad about it. This location is worse than a buy here pay here lot. More
When I walked into the Service department, Tyra immediately helped me. CJ was the person that called me so she got him for me as soon as he was available. She is genuinely the nicest person I have ever encountered tested. So far, everyone in the Service department has been outstanding, especially Tyra and CJ. More
Unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. They rushed me to pick up my car after it from being inspected. I sent all my information in before I arrived to my scheduled appointment. Didn’t offer anything to drink like other people that was there.My salesman assisted other customers than us when we had an appointment. Head to go basically toe to toe with the supervisor who don’t know how to read a credit bill with address on it. Had to bring my car back there within 30 days because my cooling system light came on after 4 days later and I call the salesman for appointment. Call was never returned, but the car was inspected. Will not recommend no one to go there. More

Any questions that I had, he would find the correct answers. The dealership was another matter. The car I bought was advertised by Carmax as having adaptive cruise control. After I bought it and took it home it became apparent that it did not have that feature. I told them that I wanted to exchange it for a virtually identical car that did have ACC. The sales manager told me that they would do that because it was important that I “loved “ the car. However after many many hours of research by myself and Gabe it became apparent that none of the BMW X5s that were in stock had ACC. They were all shown as having that feature but none of them did actually have it! I think that is called False Advertising. I therefore had a car which was not able to be exchanged for one with ACC. My choice was to return the car, get my trade in back plus the over $20000 cash deposit back. I would then have to start from scratch looking for another car. Ridiculous situation. All they could offer were platitudes and xxxxxxxx. I felt that I was banging my head against a brick wall. The only way to stop was keep the car and accept my losses. I have bought over 7 cars from Carmax in the past. I don’t know who is running the company but I am sure this is not the kind of review they want. I would like to have a response from someone . More
