I've dealt with a lot of sales people at various dealerships. Hands down Ahstawn has been the best. A lot of that has to do with CarMax's no haggle process. Reese is truly a gentleman. Professional, polite, and put my wife first - which I appreciate. So many sales folks disregard the female in the sale, and that has always bothered me. Not Reese - he treated her with as much if not more respect than he did me. The purchase is a joint effort on our part, and she has every bit of say in the purchase as I do. The delivery took longer than expected due to an issue with the vehicle, which is fine and glad that it was corrected. The problem was getting updates on the status. The financing and actual purchase went very well, but the customer service leading up to the sale was far less than ideal. On the back end, because the car was titled out-of-state originally, i had to take it to the DMV to have them confirm that the vehicle matched the VIN, etc for titling in Kansas. I took the paperwork back to Carmax less than 24 hours after receiving it from them, yet was called later to be "reminded" that I needed to turn in the paperwork, which of course I already had. A small thing, but still a thing. More
