All we car went reasonable well. ...UNTIL....had car inspected by Porsche. 1. Three oil leaks....two taken care of by CarMax...third sent out to another source as not able to ...UNTIL....had car inspected by Porsche. 1. Three oil leaks....two taken care of by CarMax...third sent out to another source as not able to fix. You have had car for 13 days in shop and still not returned. I've only had use of car ONE day.. Then inspected and discovered problems. Given loaner....going on TWO weeks without new purchase..... 2. Tires on this car were TEN YEARS (10) old! Were cracking and splitting despite 5/32 tread. Date on sidewall showed '2016'.CarMax replaced all four tires and alignment. This vehicle SUPPOSEDLY underwent a thorough inspection by CarMax and was placed on the lot for sale. It NEVER should have been. I have purchased at least three cars and a truck at CarMax...between Irvine and Costa Mesa stores. Extremely disappointed that car was improperly inspected and had I not had an outside dealer review wouldn't have known of these problems. FYI...I specifically spoke to salesperson and the sales manager about the tires at time of purchase and they advised tires had passed inspection and could not/would not replace. Was not aware of the THREE oil leaks at that time. Waiting....impatiently in the meantime for the car to be returned. Reiterating, this vehicle should not have been for sale with all these concerns. Very poor performance by CarMax technicians. Would like to receive some response to this ordeal.....and...get my car back. More

It was great not to have to haggle over the price. I found the car online and by calling the dealership we were able to reserve the car until the next day for a test drive.
