It’s super frustrating that I bought a used but newer car and it went through a quality control check and yet the trunk didn’t work the second I picked it up. No one called me and warned me about this before and it went through a quality control check and yet the trunk didn’t work the second I picked it up. No one called me and warned me about this before. It seemed to pass all inspections. I paid $39,000 for the car and I have had to take it back twice now to get the trunk looked at and now they need to send it to a body shop because it’s off the tracks. This is definitely something that should have been caught BEFORE I picked it up and paid for it. I have 4 kids and it’s been a pain scheduling to get the work completed. A refund of some sort or a credit or something is in order for my wasted time and energy and gas. If this is how carmax goes I’m not sure I would recommend them. I shouldn’t have any issues with a new car I just purchased. More
