Staff was nice but not knowledgeable about the car I wanted to buy would not go to this dealer again. I wanted to asked questions, but they did not know much about the car. Fourth vehicle we bought from Carmax. We are happy of the service and experience so far. We bought a Toyota Prius HEV this time. The only off thing we experienced was the car keys. They advertised there were 2 car keys for the vehicle but they only handed us one. We bought the vehicle and paid in full. We reached out to the office, Jade replied to us and was kind and helpful. She told us that service dep will reach out to us for the next steps of the process in a couple of days, as it was advertised so will be getting the second key. That was 8/23/25 and we are almost 2 weeks and no words from service dep yet. We may need to reach out again and follow up. I hope Carmax will not advertise it if it's not true, re: car keys. More

Fourth vehicle I've bought from the Fairfield store and the first time trading in. The Toyota Tacoma I bought was advertised as a TRD Off Road but it was actually a TRD Sport which is about 2k cheaper. Aft the first time trading in. The Toyota Tacoma I bought was advertised as a TRD Off Road but it was actually a TRD Sport which is about 2k cheaper. After explaining it to the salesman he confirmed with manager and lowered the price by 2k. Missing the owners manual and only 1 key so they said they will pay 250 dollars for a key that costs 330 dollars and they would reimburse me for the manual also. Going to send copies of the receipt next week for reimbursement. Carmax has been good to me and I like the service and the experience is better as a former Carmax customer More
