Good experience, they shipped car from S. A. in only 2 days vs 7. Was able to get ins. and drive home in new car that day. They even offered to pay for lunch. I had a bad experience with the store manager, he had poor customer service and acted as if he was not really concerned with my interests as a buyer. PII was visible almost everywhere. I had purchased several vehicles from Carmax including one purchased last year. I have not had any problems and I was always in and out within a few hours. This last purchase took a couple of days with the request of documents that were not clearly requested in the initial phase of the purchase. After finally submitting all of the documents it only took a few hours to complete the transaction. More
This is the 4th car we bought from CarMax because of the honesty shown by salesman and the CarMax perks. However, this time Juan Melchor, our salesman did not follow through on his promises: 1. To call in 1 honesty shown by salesman and the CarMax perks. However, this time Juan Melchor, our salesman did not follow through on his promises: 1. To call in 10 days to see if we were satisfied with the car and 2. To ask his manager about getting a second key for our car. It is unacceptable to expect new owners to shell out another $450 to get the 2nd key for their new purchase. Also CarMax dropped their 9O day return policy to 30 days. That also was a reason we always traded at CarMax. So disappointed this time. Pam Eaves More
