Most interaction is online, which is something I prefer. Dealing with car salesman is akin to dealing with the devil. A warranty on the car I purchased was going to cost 30% of the cost of the vehicle. Are you nuts? I am not inclined to spend an additional 30% of the cost of purchase for a warranty that will most likely be used for a manufacturing defect. As for Carmax as a dealership, it is more of an aggregate car seller with a nefarious loan department. DO NOT purchase a car if you have a low credit score. DO NOT get a loan with a low credit score. You will be financially xxxxx with 20% or higher interest rates. That kind of rate is untenable. Buy a used Toyota with high miles from a private seller. Way cheaper. Easy to get fixed. Will last forever. It may not be pretty or sexy, but it will get the job done. More

Overall, the transparent, no-pressure approach at this location was incredibly refreshing. Cody truly listened to our needs and supported us through the entire process without ever being pushy.
