DO NOT DO A LOAN THRU EXETER FINANCE! They have 42 states suing with class actions and I have contacted Liz Murrill , the LA Attorney General, and filed a complaint thru the CFPB. It was placed on my documents in small print, “Customer placed with Exeter Finance due to NO credit history”. My interest rate is 25.55% and they just increased it to 26.01% WITHOUT ME EVEN KNOWING! I saw on Experian and also why IF I HAD ZERO CREDIT, per CarMax, does it show on my credit report my credit being ran thru Capital One,etc. I made sure when I scheduled the appointment to purchase the car that I had just paid $1000 to have shipped from Nevada to Lafayette, that I checked my credit and one agency said 723 and another said 713! CarMax needs to correct this manipulation of facts that now has me upside down a car that I know very well since I have had 4 Scions previously AND I KNOW THEY DO JOT COST $15000! Exeter Finance is compromised of all Santander Finance’s former employees. They all left Santander in 2019 because Santander was under federal investigation!! So they just tip toed down the road to Exeter to continue SCREWING OVER UNKNOWING CONSUMERS WITH THESE RIDICULOUS INTEREST RATES!
