I don't know where to begin. We brought our truck in for a repair and didn't get it back for over 2 months... We moved 2 weeks after we dropped it off and needed our truck desperately, which they were aware of. We were given a loaner, but were told not to put any scratches on it at all, or we would be charged. We obviously couldn't use that to move. During this 2 months, we were given new "ready-by" dates over and over again (when we could actually get someone to call us back). Every week, that date would come and go, no one would call us. We would call and leave a message with someone and would be told that Irving (or service contact) would call us the same day or next morning, but he wouldn't. We would call again, then would finally be told a new reason the truck wasn't ready and would get a new ready-by date and the cycle would happen over again. Irving constantly said he would call us with updates, but never would. This went on for almost the full 2 months... Until about 2 weeks prior to getting the truck back, which is when I lost my cool. I think we were given 6 different dates the truck would be ready and probably 8 reasons that it wasn't ready by those dates. The lack of communication and the obvious lies were what really ticked us off. If they can't get it done on time, then fine. We wouldn't have been thrilled, but we just wanted communication and the truth. We were also told by Irving that because they had the truck for so long, they would "make it right". It was not made right. In fact, after all of that, the truck was making a new sound the very same day we got it back. It seems this is something they did, as it never made the noise prior to them having it for those 2+ months. And since they had to completely drop the engine and take everything apart, it seems reasonable to assume something got put back together poorly or wasn't tightened fully, which is causing a whistle sound. We told them about it and scheduled an appointment to bring it back in, but when we showed up to drop it off, they were going to charge us another $199.00 (on top of what we already paid them) just to locate the problem that they caused. We decided to cancel the appointment and will seek another service center. Our purchase experience wasn't great either. We should have learned our lesson then. I can't stress enough how much we despise this place. More
Everyone we dealt with Carr Chevrolet was friendly and helpful. Our salesperson, Jaime, was very knowledgeable about the trucks and helped us get exactly what we wanted. Good experience with Jesus Martinez and Josh (sorry I don't have your last name, but came from a Subaru dealer.) Paperwork guy was good at his job, got me through pretty quick with minimal surprises.
