I’m writing this review based on my leasing experience with Carson Nissan on a brand new 2014 Nissan Rogue. My wife and I have been searching for a crossover vehicle for a while now to replace a leased v with Carson Nissan on a brand new 2014 Nissan Rogue. My wife and I have been searching for a crossover vehicle for a while now to replace a leased vehicle nearing the end of its lease term. We have taken a liking to the newly redesigned Rogue as it offers a lot of what we’re looking for – great convenience, technology and safety features; great gas mileage; comfort; and a solid vehicle to fit future family expansion. Per my research, I found out that Nissan nationwide was offering a lease special on the new Rogue for an SV trim with AWD model, and Carson Nissan happened to have inventory of a vehicle matching that exact description. And that was how I’ve gotten in touch with Lai-Ce, the Internet Sales Manager. Although I have my experience purchasing cars in the past, I’ve never leased. That being said, I’ve done my homework to learn anything there is on leasing. Working with Lai-Ce was the smoothest, and comfortable new car experience to date. We worked together to determine all our needs, color, trim, packages, and accessories. She even provided insight to help us fine-tune our needs to find that perfect car. She was persistent to help us locate inventory options across the 100mile radius, and provided all pricing calculations when asked. We really enjoyed working with her, as she was fair, patient, prompt, and consistent in every way to find us our vehicle. She had even transferred a vehicle from another dealer to keep on hold for us, as I was out of town and unable to complete the deal until later in the week. In the end, Lai-Ce delivered us our vehicle, we opted last minute on another vehicle on the dealer floor with all the bells and whistles we wanted. In a blink of an eye, the car was out for detailing, we were filling out paperwork, and we’re on our way to driving off in our new Rogue. We also had the pleasure to work with Jan Josef or “JJ.” He was very helpful and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about the new technology and convenience features offered on the new Nissan Rogue. He educated us on the car, ensured and helped us confirm that the Rogue was the car for us based on our needs, and it sure did. During our wait while the leasing contract was processing, we met Martel, another sales consultant. He was also very helpful, and took his time to explain to us all the various manuals we received with the new Rogue. Later on, after driving off with our new car, we returned to the dealership, as we were not able to figure out how to operate the “auto read text,” and were concerned with a stain on the front carpet. JJ, along with another team member John assisted us with finding out that we must have “Nissan Connect,” to operate the function. Martel drove off with our vehicle, and brought it back in a jiffy with the stain removed. We were very happy with the prompt attention to our service request. Lisa was our Finance Manager. She was also very friendly, and was clear and concise in explaining every line of the paperwork. The contract was easy to understand, and we were in and out in no time. Here’s my summary for my leasing experience at Carson Nissan. Customer service is great at this dealership as the team members we worked directly with went above and beyond their call of duty, and were consistent to make sure that our questions are answered, and our requests were met. Everyone was very friendly, and greeted us with a smile, even during our return to the dealership. The only reason why I did not provide a perfect rating for “Quality of Work,” was because the vehicle was not fully inspected prior to us driving off. We drove over 1 hour to find our new vehicle at Carson, and the second day, when opening the hood, we found out that the windshield washer fluid was so low, that you can’t even see the fill line in the reservoir, and the Coolant fill line was at min when the car was hot. We strongly believe that a quick multi-point inspection of the vehicle, and topping off all the fluids prior to delivery is an expectation for all customers prior to delivery for drive off. In terms of pricing, Lai-Ce provided a fair price that was below the Costco pricing, however, it was not as low as the True Car pricing. Knowing that this is a newly designed Rogue with limited inventory, I believe that the discount provided as good. However, I believe the pricing of this vehicle can be more discounted with more volume in a couple months with more inventory available. Overall, we are very satisfied with our leasing experience at Carson Nissan. Friendliness, attentiveness, and consistency were beyond all else. It was well worth the 1-hour drive out to Carson, and I highly recommend working with the team members I’ve mentioned. If you’re seeking an Internet sales manager, I highly recommend working with Lai-Ce as the service she provided to help us find our new car was far beyond any other Internet sales manager I’ve contacted in any of the local Los Angeles Nissan dealerships.
