Most d They have excellent prices for their vehicles. I looked for a decent price on a pickup truck in my area and nobody can match Carvana on price. Most dealerships were several thousand dollars more expensive. The other pro about Carvana is their trade in price. They offered me at least seven thousand dollars more for my trade in than anywhere near me would have offered. Now onto the cons. Carvana badly wants you to finance through them. Their interest rate was nearly 18%! This makes me think that's why they are able to offer such good prices for their vehicles. They do let you use third party financing which is great but they make you jump through some hoops. Basically they have you act as a middle man so they don't have to deal directly with your lender making the process a total pain in the butt. You'll spend a lot of time tracking down paperwork to upload to them. That last con I can think about is a mix between the time limit to purchase a vehicle and their shipping fees. Once you start the process to make a purchase you have only 45 minutes to get the forms filled out. If you don't have your third party financing in order you may very well run out time to buy that vehicle and someone else could actually get it before you. Carvana needs to be clear about what it is you need for third party financing prior to beginning so people have the information Carvana wants. You also need to be aware that shipping fees are separate from delivery fees. Shipping fees are paid upfront! If it's $1800 to have it shipped somewhere you are required to pay it in full up front. They do offer free shipping on some so make sure to filter it for that when you're looking so you don't get caught off guard. The last thing I will add is purely anecdotal. I've heard multiple horror stories about people buying from Carvana. My cousin told me his friend bought a truck from them and it took over a month and a half to get it delivered. He said whenever it arrived it had a flat tire and a bad battery. The other issues I've heard about concerns acquiring the title to the vehicle. Apparently some folks have had issues getting the title from Carvana once they pay the vehicle off. I don't know how true any of this is so take it with a grain of salt. Overall buying from Carvana wasn't to bad. I would prefer to not be a middle man to purchase a vehicle. I don't know if I would buy from them again and I would only recommend someone to purchase from them at their own risk. If you're willing to do the leg work you'll get a good deal but make sure to use that 7 day replacement if you're not happy with your purchase! More
**BEWARE** Carvana offered me $16,279 on 08/23/2023 with an expiration date of 08/30/2023 for my vehicle. While reviewing the information on the offer on 08/28/2023 I realized the value owed was off by a couple hundred dollars ($250 to be exact) so after making this correction they dropped the offer value by $3992 now offering $12,287. I talked to a representative of the company, and they refused to honor their offer that was set to expire on 08/30/2023. This is unethical and go against their whole business scheme of not being like typical car dealerships. They have lost a customer for life, and I suggest anyone looking to use them to use with caution as they'll switch numbers on the fly for any reason just like your typical SHEISTY dealer would. **BEWARE** More

This has been an absolute nightmare of an experience. Every interaction with Carvana is long, slow, and unproductive. From when we went to pick up the car and my very excited 9yo dropped the coin in the vending machine with no response from the machine. Our car had not been loaded into the machine. It was still being detailed 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment. It took another 45 minutes to finish the detail and we very anti-climatically took possession of the car. It had three significant new exterior blemishes not mentioned in the listing, and the interior wreaked of febreeze and cigarette smoke. I then called customer service to address these concerns. Lots of waiting and then I am told that my paperwork had some “glitches” and they could not process any claims until the paperwork finished processing. This was Saturday, my pick up day. I was told that I would get a phone call on Monday and we could submit claims then. Keep in mind that by Monday, I will only have 5 days left in my 7-day money back guarantee period(7dmbgp). I don’t get a call by end of business day on Monday, so I call them. After about 40 minutes of runaround with a very pleasant rep, I find out that my paperwork still has “glitches”. They will call me back within 48 hours, which by that point I will have 3 days left on the 7dmbgp. I try my luck at chat on Tuesday, and the rep acts like she doesn’t know what I am talking about with the glitches in my paperwork. My paperwork is good. Great! I now have 4 days left in the 7dmbgp, let’s file the claims. They say that they can only reimburse $100 of the $250 it will cost me to remove the smoke odor. And then direct me to the claims area that now exists on my dashboard (before it just said “Get Ready to Pick up Your Car!”) to file cosmetic issues. Done. Ffwd to Friday, the last day of my 7dmbgp, when I get an email from Dropbox to sign my registration paperwork. I click the link to sign, but they want an access code that I don’t have. I contact Carvana, and we go back and forth for over 45 minutes about how I can gain access to this access code. No I didn’t get a text or a separate email. No it’s not in my spam. I am instructed to contact Dropbox support, which I find out is only accessible to paid accounts. I am not the paid account, Carvana is. The rep tells me that she has submitted a ticket and I should get an access code sent to me in the next 48 hours. I’m not optimistic based on my Carvana experience so far. I anticipate a headache when my temporary tags expire and my registration is still in limbo as I have read that this is a common problem with Carvana. Hence why I was in a hurry to get the registration paperwork signed. My son loves the car, so far, now that we’re removed the cigarette smell. We’ll see how it holds up mechanically… More

The online portion of the purchase process hasworked well, in most cases it has worked very well. On the whole, the vehicles are of high quality and certified, which is a big plus. Also very easy to access CARFAX reports . The selection process is far more efficient than the typical dealership experience. Our challenges have been with the human interface. Appointment(s) being rescheduled mere hours before the promised delivery date/time. One of the failed attempts involved rescheduling of delivery dates FOR WEEKS (that's why it failed). Conflicting guidance (regarding process-in-motion events) from underwriting and customer service reps. 1Prices are high. Trade-in allowances, however, are very good. Getting down to delivery/vehicle satisfaction, the truck we bought from CARVANA was delivered with an incomplete jack. Another vehicle (2018 Toyota Avalon) stalled in the driveway the day after we got it. The solution there involved out-of-pocket expenses for towing and repairs. It's been over a month and we haven't received the reimbursement we were promised. More
First time using Carvana and found the process and service to be excellent. Used car purchases require proper due diligence and knowing the information provided by Carfax needs careful review as to th service to be excellent. Used car purchases require proper due diligence and knowing the information provided by Carfax needs careful review as to the history of car. One thing to mention give yourself 10 days to receive car if arranging your financing. My deal was set up to be delivered in 4 days and was really squeezed To do financing and still receive car on due date. Had excellent customer advocate reps and average time on hold was 20 minutes. The delivery crew in Kansas City were absolutely excellent in the reception of all cars in the hour I was there. Would purchase car at Carvana again. More
