I began the purchase process with car A. I decided that car A was not equipped the way I wanted so after delivery, knowing that I could exchange the vehicle, I went back online and found the same model and car A was not equipped the way I wanted so after delivery, knowing that I could exchange the vehicle, I went back online and found the same model and year car with the equipment I wanted. I called Carvana and told them I wanted to exchange the first car. They said that I had to repeat the purchasing process for car B and they would make the switch. It wasn’t really an easy exchange as now they wanted proof of income, something they didn’t ask for on car A. I satisfied their requirements and then called again to make certain that car B was equipped with what I wanted. Caravan assured me that it was equipped just as the website stated. Of course, when car B arrived it didn’t have any of the equipment that I asked about. I was then told by the man delivering the vehicle that if I exchanged car B I would have to keep the third vehicle and that no exchange would be possible. I kept car B as I liked it even though I paid at least $1,000 for equipment that I did not receive. Prior to this I was in a bad car accident that totaled my previous vehicle and I accepted car B because I just wasn’t up to the hassle of dealing with Carava and their Bait and Switch tactics. More
Easy Enough, BUT! I liked the fact that you don't have to leave home to buy a car! The process was very simple.......and I do like my car! BUT, I was not happy when I got the car......it was extremely dirty inside so the first thing I had to do is get it detailed inside. 2nd, Carvana never disclosed to me that the car was repainted (they should have) and wherever they got the car painted they did a CRAP job masking and painting the car. I had to have over spay removed from ALL of the windows, I had to have over spray removed from the rubber trim around the windows and there is over spray on the car itself! I had that removed as well. And because I did not want to deal with Carvana's So-Called warranty and insurance agency, I paid for all of this myself.....Which cost me out of pocket almost $800.00 dollars and the ONLY reason i did not send the car back is because I like the car and I new it could be fixed quite easily with a little bit of money! Yeah, I am pretty disappointed with Carvana and I will probably never use them again..........Now that the car is fixed, I love the car......... More

Would have been great without the "pandemic disarray." The people involved were all very helpful. Especially those who helped me receive my car in the Sacramento area rather than having to fly to Ontario, The people involved were all very helpful. Especially those who helped me receive my car in the Sacramento area rather than having to fly to Ontario, CA to pick it up. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 restrictions caused quite a bit of confusion and delay. But in the end, the final outcome turned out to be much more convenient than my initial plan for getting the car. Thanks for all the help your people provided during this unusual time for buying and doing business. More

The Carvana experience was much smoother than I had imagined. I know what car I wanted, which is key when car shopping online :-) , and was able to find the model, color, and trim level I wanted at a g imagined. I had hopes that Carvana would be different, and it was! Of course paperwork has to be involved, but it was efficient. The car delivery was on schedule, and Fernanda did an efficient job and was friendly throughout. I think I got a great car and never felt pressured, or that someone was wasting my time. More

Carvana's customer service and communication were great, and my 2018 Buick Encore arrived as advertised on the outside. It was also delivered to my house right on time. But there have been a few issues with the vehicle itself. There are some non-safety repairs that I've already had to visit a local Buick dealership to fix. The interior of the vehicle wasn't as clean as I expect a car I buy from a dealership to be. There were several stickers on the front windshield that weren't removed, which obviously indicated that this vehicle was previously used as a rental car. And the battery inside the keyless remote is already about to die. Overall, this seemed a bit like a rush job by what I'm guessing was a skeleton crew. I absolutely love the car itself, and I got it for a price that I wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. But I'm a little disappointed in the follow-through. I went through Carvana because so many friends had positive experiences. I wish mine was as positive. I probably will not use Carvana for my next vehicle purchase. More
