The 150 Point Inspection is a Joke I purchased a 2018 Mustang that had been returned by another customer. When I picked the car up 2 weeks later, I asked the Carvana employee why. He said that there was paint damage that he felt put the car beneath Carvana standards, and he had already reported it. The Carvana listing showed the only defects as being two small paint chips. These were not tiny defects. There are two large damage spots on both doors, another on the corner of the hood, and a large scuff in the paint on the bumper. I would have returned the car, but the color is hard to find in a GT Coupe. It took the full 7 days of going back and forth with Carvana via phone and email, and fielding repeated requests to add photos the web portal (which doesn't have a place to add text to describe the issues) to get the repairs approved. I had to take nearly an hour of of work on Day 7 to be ensured that the repairs would be handled. I still don't have an answer on whether a rental car will be provided. (Carvana also wanted me to drive 100 miles in Los Angeles traffic to have a front license plate bracket installed.) I am extremely upset that the car was not put in the condition advertised in the listing in the two weeks before I picked it up. I was not able to take my car to my mechanic until after the return period expired. Carvana only replaced two of the four tires. The car has been wiggling, and the mechanic informed me that the two tires that weren't replaced have dangerously uneven tread. I have to take the car back again, because he is still trying to diagnose a rattle that is happening during acceleration. I have only had the car 8 days, and the problems keep accumulating. This is by far the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Edit: Just heard back from my mechanic, and the car was sold to me with engine trouble. The lifters are damaged. More

Convenient, But Not Good I was delivered a car that was unsafe to drive. This was due to it having a broken strut coil. The power steering and coolant fluids were low, and there was no washer fluid. Thankfully, the warranty covered the repair to the bumper and strut. The mechanic filled the power steering and coolant fluids for me when when I picked the car up from the shop this past Monday. Then this morning I was coming home from work. I had stopped at a store to pick up a few things. On the way back to the car I noticed what looked like coolant leaking from under the car. I raised the hood to see that the coolant level had gone down some. This is probably why the coolant was so low upon delivery. I'm very disappointed that I now have to put the car back in the shop and get the warranty company to fix this. This is only the second week since delivery and it has to go into the repair shop twice? Carvana did a HORRIBLE job inspecting this car. None of this should have been missed during the inspection. I can't help but to feel the car was overpriced for the damage it had. Buying the car was very convenient. But with these issues I'm not a happy camper. More

Great experience. Everything is handled online. With the 150 point inspection and 75(?) Day standard warranty, as w2ll as a 7 day trial period there really is no reason to worry. While most used car dealers just want you in the car and off their lot, carvana parades your new purchase in epic fashion, displaying it as if you were visiting a car show. Love it. More

We were a little hesitant at first with purchasing a vehicle this way. However, we picked one out, financing was a breeze and no middle man. We met the vehicle, took it for a test drive. Decided it was a great purchase, so we decided to take it home for our 7 day trial. Carvana was upfront with us with peeling paint on the driver side and said they would take care of the cost. We took it in for an estimate and the vehicle had undisclosed hail damage that we didn't notice, nor Carvana. Contacted Carvana, submitted the estimate and we had an answer within a day that they would cover the repairs. We would highly recommend Carvana to everyone. From the ease of selecting, didn't have to deal with a high pressure sales person, and everything else was smooth. Thanks Carvana! More
I had such an awesome experience with Carvana. It was super easy looking for the car I wanted and even easier getting pre approved. The driver was friendly and happy to help me with my paperwork and anything else I needed. My Car is even more beautiful than pictures and I haven’t had any problems or surprises with it.
