This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had having a vehicle worked on. First I went in because my car wouldn’t start and to get an oil change. I was told the car needed a new battery but the having a vehicle worked on. First I went in because my car wouldn’t start and to get an oil change. I was told the car needed a new battery but the warranty tester wasn’t operational. I contacted the service manager and asked him to call me when the part was in for it. I never received a call. I called them and they got my car in. I was not informed that having the battery tested would cost $160. The total amount I paid was $364.93 for a warranties battery, ridiculous!!! More
When I made my appointment in October for December it was for several maintenance services due such as flushing the coolant, changing transmission fluid, wipers, etc. The tech should have noted this but di for several maintenance services due such as flushing the coolant, changing transmission fluid, wipers, etc. The tech should have noted this but did not. When I arrived for the December appointment the tech thought it was for an oil change even though I just had it changed in Oct. She went over the items I needed done and the charges and said it would take around 4 hours. I live 45 minutes away in North Vernon so I had to call my husband to pick me up. The tech called about 3 hrs later to say my car was ready but the mechanic didn't change the transmission fluid because the bolt had been stripped. I have never had work done on my transmission so I didn't believe her. I asked to speak to the service manager. He said the bolt was rusted, not stripped, and the could remove it for an additional $80. I thought that was way too much. My husband can spray it with a rust remover. Now I am taking it to another dealership to do this work. Very disappointed in the cost and communication. More
