Got there and was told that car we wanted didn’t pass a safety inspection and for unknown reasons it was unsafe. Although they gave it a glowing internet statement of one local owner. Asked if they would buy our car as they advertise on the internet and they refused to do that also. Just lies and more lies. Making further complaints for the supposed sale of unsafe cars. More

So I did my research and searched fo l that vin and found truck at performance for 44,600.. sales manager jd is joke and losing customers for Carver go elsewhere and save big money More

Josh was my sales man ... they said it looks good, has normal wear but over all is nice. it had a coolant issue, but they replaced a hose. I said check the a/c, he did and said it worked. I got a bad feeling about the car so looked into their service dept for repair records. It had a battery replaced, noted unknown electrical issues and coolant was added (no hose). I was scared of the car, asked josh about it he said "well we put a hose on the car but didn't charge it to the deal" so I said great, what hose was it and please write down the part number, he said "no we arnt going to do that, but his MNGR J.D. said it was done and he had no reason to lie, sooo I asked JD and he said no! " he dosent know anything about that car and why would he...hes a new car MNGR." JOSH GOT COUGHT IN A LIE. I finally got in touch with the used car Mngr Mike? or Mark? and he said no, just a hose clamp was replaced, along with a battery and that solved the electrical issues, but he would have the service department inspect the car for me again to make me feel beter and came back and said all looks good, tires are a little old and the muffler is a little rusty and sent me a picture of the car on a rack. I felt good and completed the sale. I had a transport company pick up the car for me a few days later. When I got the car, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, THE FRONT BUMPER WAS CRACKED, THE FRONT MARKER LIGHTS DONT WORK, THE HORN DOSENT WORK, THE TAG LIGHTS DONT WORK, THE RADIO DOSENT WORK, THE SEAT DOSENT WORK , THE DOOR LOCKS DONT WORK, LCD DASH IS BROKEN, ONLY 1 WINDSHIELD WIPER WORKS, THE TRIM WAS OFF THE SEAT AND THROWN UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT, THE TRIM WAS REMOVED FROM AROUND THE BATTERY AND THROWN IN THE TRUNK. ****BUT MOST OF ALL I PAID 404.60 IN TAXES, 199. DOC FEE AND 150 TITLE FEE/ELEC REGISTRATION, AND WHEN THE TITLE GOT TO MY TAX OFFICE.... IT CAME WITH A CHECK FOR $33. MY 404.60 TAX MONEY HAS DISAPEARED ALONG WITH $117 OF MY REGISTRATION FEES....ALL OF WITCH I WILL HAVE TO PAY ALL OVER AGAIN TO GET MY TITLE AND PLATES. Amy at Carver said it went to the state of Indiana (but they didn't register it there) Texas says it should have come there.....I paid my taxes and CARVER STOLE FROM ME...PROOF IS IN THE PICTURE!! THEY LIED ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE CAR, THEY WERE COMPLETLY DECEPTIVE AND NOW THEY HAVE $521.60 OF MY MONEY THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY AGAIN. OH THEN AMY SAID ALL THE DAMAGE WAS DONE DURRING THE TRANSPORT OF THE CAR, SO I CONTACTED HIM, HE LAUGHED....HE SAID "I THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT ITS CONDITION, BUT I TAKE PICS OF ALL MY LOADS BEFORE I HAUL THEM FOR INSURANCE REASONS, I STILL HAVE THE PICS OF YOUR CAR IN THEIR LOT BEFORE I LEFT....LET ME SEND THEM TO YOU." SURE ENOUGH HE DID......LOL HERE ARE SOME PICS....I WILL LOAD MORE TOMARROW. IF YOU HAVE DRIVEN THIS PAR, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME, I FEEL LIKE AT THIS POINT......I HAVE A SOLID CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST THEM......BUT MAYBE A DISEPTIVE TRADES LAWSIUT OR EVEN THEFT BY DESEPTION. Place is a joke. Or forgot I was coming in to get it fixed. Come to find out where I work I got a bigger discount then 100 dollars. My coworkers were getting thousands off and I got only 100. Very poor service sales rep wont respond calls or answer phone. If you want to buy a lemon I recommend this place 100 percent and if you dont believe me ask my parents who's car has been there 2 months has 5100 miles on it and still waiting on a transmission. They even bought all the extended warranty. This place is a scam and only want your money. More

Bad Experience - Untruthful Employees & Managers Quoted several dealers on a new Tacoma and Carver said they would beat the best offer by $500. I was a bit suspicious based on their poor ratings but figured I'd give them a shot after confirming the numbers with the internet sales manager. I gave the dealer all my info including VIN # and pictures for an accurate quote. My vehicle was a 2016 in flawless shape. When I showed up (1 hr drive) they had to start the whole quoting process again (wasting another hour of my time) and didn't even get the basics correct concerning the year of my car or model. I specifically asked about matching my offer and wanted to ensure that their management team was happy with the deal that the salesperson agreed. The offers were from reputable dealers - Warsaw Toyota And Mungenston Alton Toyota but were a much farther drive so I wanted to see if they would honor their price which they assured me they would multiple times. In the end I was offered nearly $3,000 less than they agreed via email (both the salesman and internet sales manager). When I questioned them they didn't offer an explanation other than the salesmen said he does what he is told and his job was to get me in the dealership doors. I guess that means lying to customers even at a managers level. Despicable behavior ... don't believe anything that the dealer offers. More
