Cascade Subaru was the third dealership I walked into the morning I was determined to find a car. The two prior dealerships were so different. One was automatically trying to get any lease penalties I had pa morning I was determined to find a car. The two prior dealerships were so different. One was automatically trying to get any lease penalties I had paid to them directly, get the highest monthly payment they could get, without listening well to what I wanted. The second dealership was clearly doing well selling the type of car I was looking at in their dealership, and really not interested in taking any time. I believe the comment was, "why don't you come back when you know what you want." I knew exactly what I wanted - AWD and the best deal I could get. Pretty simple. The reception at Cascade Autogroup was friendly, and I was directed to their Subaru team since that's what I was interested in. Matt Harteis was with me in under 5 minutes, is an excellent listener, took the time to look up the features on the car I drove in, then asked what I was looking for and literally had a car on the lot that was perfect. I dropped a retainer, and picked up the car the next day. I have a STEM background and am comfortable with very technical features, so he showed me advanced features on the car and was willing to discuss some of the improvements in the 2025 Crosstrek Sport. It's important to understand that I have had a lot of mansplaining when I've gone to dealerships, and Matt was not that guy. He was great. If you need a car, I would highly recommend you visit Cascade Autogroup. Jennifer Hikade in their business office made the financial side of the work easy and quick.
