My passenger side window on my 2013 Chevy Cruze appeared to have shattered for no apparent reason. I had the police come to the house to check it out, and they couldn't definitively rule out vandalism but to have shattered for no apparent reason. I had the police come to the house to check it out, and they couldn't definitively rule out vandalism but were unable to explain why all the glass was on the OUTSIDE of the car, if the window had been smashed from the outside. I called Gary Lang and spoke with Adam. We discussed my having the vehicle towed to their service department that evening. Unfortunately, this was not an option for us. Adam then advised me to take as many photos as I could, remove the shattered glass and bring the car in the next morning and he would plead my case with his superior. I did so just that and as it turns out there was no pleading, photos or police report necessary. Even though what happened is something that "just doesn't happen" Gary Lang Chevrolet stepped up and immediately stated they would replace the window at no charge to me. The glass had to be ordered and probably wouldn't be in until the following Monday. They were going to put plastic on the window for me until the repair could be done. Adam then advised me that he felt that was unsafe and may not protect the car from the elements and found me a loaner. Gary Lang Chevrolet went over and above what they had to do. They are professional, polite, and their customer service is over the top. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from another store other than GARY LANG CHEVROLET and neither will my son. Thank you so much Adam, J.R., and Gary Lang Chevrolet for backing your product and turning a very unfortunate event into a tolerable one. You guys ROCK! More

And the van driver, Bill, is able to “get you home and back”, SAFELY, over the worst snow-and-ice covered roads in McHenry county, if your car is kept overnight Keeping in mind, that, you get what you pay for, the price is right too. I have been using their service department for years and they have never failed to deliver. Warranty work was done quickly and without hassle. Paid repairs have been done on time for exactly what they quote they have never failed to deliver. Warranty work was done quickly and without hassle. I took a transmission problem that Biggers Mitsubishi in Elgin could not or did not want to fix. I explained the service history and problems experienced to Service manager Adam Loresch. He had his technician inspect the transmission and ended up putting a new Transmission in under warranty at 100,750 miles. The trans problems started at 91,000 miles with Biggers Mitsubishi. I have given the ratings that I did because these people make you feel welcome and go the extra mile to make sure the job is done correctly and there are no suprise's to ruin my day.I recently called Mike a make you feel welcome and go the extra mile to make sure the job is done correctly and there are no suprise's to ruin my day.I recently called Mike as my wifes heater would not blow air.It was a very cold day and I know these people had to be busy.I fully expected that we would have to leave the suburban there to be repaired.Mike drove the truck back to the mechanic"s area and in less than 30 minutes it was done and my wife was on her way. I bought a new chevy 2500 H.D.truck from Gary Lang.I like the truck very much,but it was one of those vehicles that just had squeeks and rattles that would come and go.There was nothing major wrong with the truck, but it was driving me crazy.I felt like a fool bringing it in,but I was always made to feel welcome and they where determind to get it fixed.Mike would write it up and Matt would tear into it.They both went together and test drove it.Long story short I don't have any sqeeks or rattles. The whole system works great and I wrote Gary Lang a short note telling him how happy I was.I don't know if he ever received it but his staff deserve a pat on the back.Would I recommend them? Yes you bet and I did send a friend in and he bought a truck from them. More
