This was the BEST care buying experience my husband and I have ever had!!! We wanted to purchase a used Santa Fe and did our research online. Both my son are from Michigan. We found the Tahoe on line. We both spoke with Mike Rodriguez several times over the telephone and IM on line. When we arrived we were looking for Mike, but John was the line. We both spoke with Mike Rodriguez several times over the telephone and IM on line. When we arrived we were looking for Mike, but John was there early and very helpful. We never daw Mike at the dealership. The only thing that might have gone a tiny bit better is if we had known the Tahoe was only a 2 wheel drive ahead of time. I thought we asked or we assumed as well as did Mike it was 4 wheel drive since it was a Z 71. Anyway, if there had been a bit more notes in our computer file, John would have known we already had a pre-approved loan, it might have saved more time. Once we had our purchase agreement sign, the Tahoe might have been cleaned and prepared a bit quicker, but I'm sure we weren't the only buyers there. We arrived about 8:30 and left about 11:30. The three hours just seemed a bit long. HOWEVER... EVERYONE was very kind and helpful, down to refering a business for ordering our Chicago style pizza! :-) More
I checked for the car I wanted on the internet and this dealer had it. They quoted me a lease price over the phone and it was great! We went to the dealer and they kept their word! The price was the same as they quoted me over the phone! This dealer really stands by their product and their word. The salesman was super nice and explained everything in detail. The only discussion we had was about our trade which was not mentioned on the phone. I would highly recommend both Mike and this dealer if you want honesty and a good price! More
We drove from St. Louis, Mo. to the dealership (roughly 300 miles) based on their internet ad, in which they misrepresented the condition of vehicle given that it had a cracked windshield and obvious front 300 miles) based on their internet ad, in which they misrepresented the condition of vehicle given that it had a cracked windshield and obvious front bumper damage. We came with our own financing and negotiated in good faith and asked that they give us time to go to lunch and talk it over. While at lunch we called them and made another offer asking the manager to consider it and call us back. When the saleman returned our call he informed us that another customer had just bought the vehicle at full sticker. They did not offer the opportunity to match the 'new bid'. Which we thought would have been fair and good business practice. The worst part of the manager's reasoning for their actions and his exact words were "he's (meaning the new customer) is paying full sticker and we are making the money on the financing" and "we are the fasting growing dealership in the country." Ironically, the saleman during his pitch gloated on their reputation of taking the sleaze out of a sleazy business! This ranks pretty high on our 'sleazy' meter. More
I visited Ryan 4 months before I bought my car. He was always understanding that we were not ready then to purchase, and never once tried to push us to buy the car that day. He gave me his cell phone number, and as the time grew closer to buy I would text him to work out the small details. When I came in Friday morning the car was already prepared to go for me. We were in and out in a reasonable amount of time, and bought the car for the pre-agreed price without being pressured to add additional options that he knew I would not want. Very professional and low pressure sale. Great experience. More
