Castle Chevrolet of Villa Park

On 3/3/12, I went to Castle Chevrolet to look a used car. After going through negotiations we agreed upon a price and I decided to buy it. When we went to the finance department to pay for the car, the papers had already been drawn up with an additional $300 added to the price for 'window etchings' with the vehicle VIN number. I told him we had agreed upon a price, the salesman didn't say anything to me about it, and I'm not going to pay for it. He said the work was already done and left the room to talk to his sales mamager. He came back later and apologized that the salesman didn't say anything to me and would give it to me at the dealer price of $190. I told him no, I won't buy the car at any additional cost. He then backed off and said he would waive the charge. I checked the windows when I went to take the car home and found no etchings on any of the windows. So, not only did they try to scam me into buying something I didn't request, THE WORK WAS NEVER PERFORMED! Needless to say, I will NEVER do business with these slimy weasels ever again. Buyer beware, always read the sales contract before you sign! I don't fault the salesman, Danny Brasil, it was the finance representative and his supervisor. More

This is my first review of any service of any kind. My experience was outstanding! Ed and Dave went above and beyond customer service. We went to the dealer to look at a used car that we found on the internet, and ended up driving it home. We just love our 2011 Dodge Avenger!!! Ryan was a great salesman. We came in with a set price that we wanted to pay monthly and Ryan worked with us to get to our goal. We appreciate his honesty, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new or used car. Lastly, we would also recommend this dealer to everyone. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that our used car purchase also comes with free car washes, and oil changes for the life of our car. This is a great bonus!! More
