Salesmen Was not Helpful I went in full on ready to purchase a brand new ProMaster van. The salesmen offered me to take the new van for a test drive, but would not let me do I went in full on ready to purchase a brand new ProMaster van. The salesmen offered me to take the new van for a test drive, but would not let me do it alone. They said a salesman must ride with the customer. If they don't trust me how am I to trust them. Then as a contractor I asked about any incentives for a shelving package. At first the salesman said there is none. Then later told me there is a $1000 available for shelving, and they would have me take the truck to an upfitter pay out of my own pocket and provide them a receipt. Other dealers were more than happy to take the price of the upfit package into the finance price, and personally take the van to have the package installed. Just seemed like they were lacking any honesty and sincerity. I ended up purchasing my new ProMaster from DuPage Jeep Dodge Ram dealership in Glendale Heights. More

What a Salesman Should Be Walking into the dealership, I was unsure about buying a car because I had been to a few other dealerships and the process was beginning to weigh heav Walking into the dealership, I was unsure about buying a car because I had been to a few other dealerships and the process was beginning to weigh heavily on me and start to really discourage me. I do not appreciate being pushed or pressured, so when "Ski" approached me at the dealership I was relieved to find car salesman that was more concerned about my reasons for being there than trying to push a car down my throat. He was asking about my needs and wants and genuinely listening to my responses. After explaining my situation, he asked me to sit down with him at his desk so that we could try and match a car to my desires. I was very up front with details on a car that I was looking for and he never tried to persuade me to change my opinion/choice on color, size, or features. I felt comfortable asking him questions and whenever I did ask him a question, his responses were honest. I had a budget and he gave me a break down of what was attainable within my budget. Overall, I would highly recommend "Ski" to all of my friends family shopping for a car. He was thoughtful, patient, understanding, and had a great personality. It was very clear that he knows his product and his level of experience was extremely helpful and impressive. I felt comfortable throughout the process and will most likely be a loyal customer because of the positive experience I had with "Ski" at the dealership. More
