21 point inspection Took my car in for an oil change. Castle no longer requires you to have an appointment for an oil change and call it an “express” service. Express is Took my car in for an oil change. Castle no longer requires you to have an appointment for an oil change and call it an “express” service. Express is far from the truth. I was told it would be done in about an hour and 15 mins. It took almost 2 hours for an oil change, 21 point inspection and a car wash. When the service was done I specifically asked the representative if the breaks were OK. She showed me on the paperwork that I had 7 mm of break pad remaining which was marked as “good”. The following afternoon I was driving and keep hearing a loud screeching noise. I came home immediately. My husband said we should take the car to our mechanic. The mechanic removed the tires to look at the breaks and said there was almost NO break pad left. Needless to say I am not happy that either my paperwork was falsified, the inspection was not done or that my paperwork actually belonged to another customer. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I will be back to Castle for service of my vehicle. More
