Unfortunately, my experience with this dealership was not a pleasurable one. I made an offer on a truck over the phone, and we agreed on a price sight unseen. We scheduled a pickup appointment for the following day. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the truck was not ready. I immediately felt pressured to complete the purchase and provide payment before I had even had the opportunity to properly see or drive the vehicle. I was putting $20,000 down in cash and financing the remaining balance, so this was a significant financial commitment. I felt very pushed to finalize the deal. I explained that I wanted to see and drive the vehicle before completing the purchase. I was initially told that might not be possible because the truck was still being serviced. I was told the brakes needed to be done, the parts had not arrived as expected, and they were running behind. Thankfully, Zai was able to show me the truck and allow me to test drive it. I ultimately decided to move forward. I paid the $20,000 cash deposit, finalized the paperwork, and completed the purchase that day with the expectation that I would receive the truck the following day once the remaining service work was completed. The dealership was nice enough to provide me with a loaner vehicle due to the inconvenience, which I do appreciate. Unfortunately, the truck was not ready the next day as promised. Zai was off and said he would check with someone at the dealership and confirm whether it was ready for pickup, but I never received an update. I eventually reached out myself and was told someone else would contact me, but that did not happen either. I ultimately had to wait until Thursday—several days after my original pickup appointment—to receive the truck. When I finally received the vehicle, I was told it had been fully detailed, the oil had been changed, and the necessary service had been completed. Unfortunately, the truck still had trash inside, including toothpicks, and it was clearly not fully detailed. There were also areas that appeared to have been missed after washing. The oil-life indicator was showing only 8% remaining, and the oil appeared very dirty. I cannot independently confirm whether the oil or fuel filters had actually been serviced, although I did visually notice that the brake pads and rotors appeared to be new. I brought these concerns to Zai's attention, and he said he would check with the service department and confirm that the work had actually been completed. I never received any follow-up confirming whether the oil change or other services had been performed. Another frustrating part of the experience was waiting approximately an hour and a half to finalize the paperwork with the finance department, despite being the only customer in the lobby. Overall, I understand that service departments can run behind and that unexpected delays happen. What was frustrating was the combination of feeling pressured to pay and finalize the purchase before the vehicle was ready, having to wait several additional days for delivery, and having to repeatedly reach out for updates. I do appreciate that the dealership provided me with a loaner vehicle while I waited. However, better communication, less pressure during the purchasing process, and ensuring the vehicle was properly serviced and detailed before delivery would have made this a much better experience. The truck itself may ultimately work out fine, but the purchasing and delivery experience was unnecessarily frustrating. More

I purchased a vehicle, the next day the check engine light comes on and the vehicle went into safety mode. Three days later I was told the problem was fixed. I asked that the truck be pushed so the chec light comes on and the vehicle went into safety mode. Three days later I was told the problem was fixed. I asked that the truck be pushed so the check engine light would come back on if not fixed. The next day the check engine light came back on and went into safety mode again. I returned it to service. I am now told the fix is just and injector they have ordered. The car threw 15 codes and has major issues. I asked for a different vehicle, am being told it's not possible. Still waiting for service to return my questions and concerns. It's been a month. No new vehicle and the promise of it actually being fixed are highly unlikely. Want out of the lemon and am being met with that I am out of luck. It makes me sick , this is my third vehicle through cavender and a 100% disabled combat veteran that freakwent the VA. Need dependability which is what I thought I was purchasing. Not impressed with service and it's length of them having the vehicle. I have had my truck 72hrs out of the last 45 days still waiting on fix or exchange. Sad they treat loyal customers and veterans this way. Told I will get calls only to be passed off or ignored. Just sad! More
