The second bad experience in a row at the Hudiburg Service Center. My appointment was for around 11:00-11:30 am. I was misled on time it would take, was told a couple of hours and wasn't contacted unt Service Center. My appointment was for around 11:00-11:30 am. I was misled on time it would take, was told a couple of hours and wasn't contacted until 2.50 hours of being there, and was then told it would be just a little while longer and didn't get out until after 3.25 hours, left at 3:15 pm. Was asked if I had been having any trouble with my seat belt, I said not really, was told that it show up on a diagnostics. When I left the service center I noticed my air bag light was showing on my dashboard, it hadn't ever come on before the visit. Went back to pull my car back into the garage and was told they were closed at 3:00 pm and they didn't want to let me back in. The person who checked in my car said he told me about the light and I told him he said seat belt and it was by air bag light which is right beside the seat belt light on the dash and looked similar but are totally different. He asked me to come back in the next few days and I told him I would just take it to Bob Moore next time, they are closer to me anyway, I was just patronizing the dealership, Hudiburg, that I bought the car from. He called me a couple of days later and asked me to come back in so they could make it right for me, I finally agreed. Brought it back in the next Friday at 8:30 for a 9:00 am appointment because he said he would give me a loaner and the technician wasn't scheduled for work until 9:00 am. When I got there he acted like he didn't want to give me the loaner and I told him I had an appointment at 10:30 am so he finally agreed to the loaner. I was given a hard time in getting the loaner by the office personnel but finally got the loaner. Before I left the service center it was about 9:30 am and I asked him "wasn't my appointment for 9:00 am, he said yes so I asked him why my vehicle hadn't even been pulled into the garage area and he didn't have an answer for that and didn't give one, just changed the subject. He called back about 1.5 hours later and said my car was ready to pick up so I went back and picked it up at that time. The previous scheduled maintenance visit I had was not as bad as this one but similar. Next time I will take my vehicle to Bob Moore instead of Hudiburg and will not advise anyone that asks to use Hudiburg for a purchase or for service, buy a vehicle or take your vehicle to a dealership that believes in REAL service after the sale. More
This is my third time to purchase a Subaru; first time to buy at Hudiberg. Greg Myers was awesome. Friendly, attentive to my needs, and made it so easy.
