Bought a used F-150 XLT Hello, My adventure started on Monday May 18th 2020 when I passed by a local Ford dealership here in Port Huron and saw they had an GMC Yukon SUV Hello, My adventure started on Monday May 18th 2020 when I passed by a local Ford dealership here in Port Huron and saw they had an GMC Yukon SUV out in front of there used car lot and this is the one vehicle I wanted all along, but when I looked at their website and looked under the per-owned vehicles section I saw it was not a SLT like I hoped it would be but instead a SLE and then I saw they had a Ford F-150 XLT for sale to which I thought was a great looking vehicle and owning a couple of them in the past I know it is one of the top pick up trucks on the market with very high ratings not only for performance and great looks but for the high safety ratings it has been given for many years. I went on Carfax.com to look it up to which they tell you if it is a good buy or not and then when I saw they over priced it by almost $2000.00 I said no way and started to look at other F-150 XLT’s and then I came across this one from Cawood Honda of Port Huron and almost fell out of my seat when I started to scroll through the pictures of it and saw that this truck had all the bells and whistles that I have been looking for in a Truck and did not cost an arm and a leg and it was very reasonably price just right for me. I did look at other F-150 XLT’s on this site and out of all of them not one came close to not only looking “Bad To The Bone” like the one I decided to buy at Cawood Honda but not even coming close to having all the options and performance this one came with that I decided to purchase at Cawood Honda of Port Huron from salesman/saleswoman Tina Smart. I really was not in the market to buying another vehicle any time soon because I just basically bought a different type of one about seven months ago but after seeing this truck there I said hey why not right you only live once. So on Thursday May 21, 2020 I drove down to Cawood Honda as quick as I could because I knew this F-150 XLT would not be there for long and when I arrived there I asked for Tina Smart salesman/saleswoman because I had dealt with her in the past and experienced nothing but professionalism and dedication to the customer at all times along with a friendly smile and was not trying to get you to buy something right off the rip, for she came out and asked me what I was there for and I said you have this one Ford F-150 XLT and I pointed to it right away and said I was very interested in it and she said are you sure and I said yes I am. So she said why don’t you take it for a ride and I did but then when I was test driving it I noticed it has different drive modes you can select on the fly like you can with the 4x4 switch and when I selected the Sport drive mode OMG I thought I had the Batman pickup of all times, it handled very well and very sturdy to my liking. I was just blown away buy this truck and told myself this is the Mother of all pick up trucks. So I returned to the lot and gave the thumbs up to Tina and she said how did you like it and I said it was very outstanding and with very low miles on it and at a very fair price so I was hooked. She asked if I wanted to look at the other F-150’s they had there and I said no this is the one for me and she said are you sure for you can think about it if you want there is no rush or anything and I said I did think about it for about thirty minutes and decided this is the one I been looking for all along!!! I must say that this was the best car shopping experience I have ever had in my whole life for the salesman/saleswoman Tina Smart was very informative and she was answering every question I had for Nowadays it is commonly seen that a car salesman just don’t do a good enough of a job and their only objective is to get the money out of your wallet. But, salesman/saleswoman Tina Smart delivers an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience as well, she is friendly and makes you feel apart of the Cawood family right from the time you pull in until you leave with a smile on your face like I did for the second time now and she will also follow up some days later asking how you are liking the vehicle so far and that to me my friends means she is totally dedicated and still caring about your purchase and satisfaction that you were given. For if you are a Veteran like I am and she having first hand knowledge and experience of military life herself we clicked right away and I did not want no other salesperson to take care of me but her so if you are a Veteran or married to one rest assure you going to be treated like you never had before with Tina Smart for she is apart of our military family!!! She is a people person with the utmost professionalism, dedication and knowledge she displays to the customer at all times and no rush attitude for why else would you not have her for your wonderful salesman/saleswoman of all times. I guarantee that most of us have experienced salesman at different dealerships that when you talk to them they act like they listen but you can see right away they really don’t want to listen to you no more then five minutes or so but with Tina Smart she will listen to you and respond back for as long as it takes and that's a very big buying point for me when I go to a dealership. I always remember when a General in Germany told us one time that you always reward a soldier for going far and beyond the call of duty and being this is not the military I still would reward Tina Smart the Meritorious service medal if I could because she always go the extra mile and goes beyond the call of duty each and every time no matter who you are or where you from and that means a lot to me personally and professionally!!! I have visited all the dealerships up here in Port Huron and Fort Gratiot and always asked if they heard of Tina Smart and every one of them said yes they heard of her and I would always say she is the best salesman/saleswoman any where around here and they start to get this crunched up look on their face like what does she have going on for herself that I don't have and then they start acting funny towards me but that’s ok for I am not out there looking to make my wallet have a blowout and inflate theirs in a matter of five to ten minutes then I tell them thank you for I have to go to Cawood Honda and see Tina Smart for they have the best selection and deals here in Port Huron but the big part of it is the customer service with a smile like you never experienced before in your life!!! Cawood Honda used cars sells like hot cakes and their inventory do not stay dormant like the other dealerships up here and this brings me to say like I did before I will always be coming back to this showroom for the years ahead and I ask everyone that reads this review to tell others they know to come see Tina Smart at Cawood Honda and get your next car here. Note: I normally do not write long winded reviews but for this outstanding experience I have to for it is very well deserved!!! That’s my story and I am sticking to it!!! Regards, MFIC44 (John) More
