Not too great of an experience. There weren't a lot of cars that fit our needs within 50 miles. Cawood had the closest to what we were looking for. Test drove a few. Tried a Subaru, engine temperature light was on for that test drive (great job service department). Then tried a Honda CRV. It was ok. Looked it over quickly, seemed ok. After a few more test drives decided it was the closest to what we needed for what we wanted to spend. Made our intent to buy. Showed up and that’s when the catfish started. After being cleaned the car had A LOT of condition issues. Big gouge out of the driver door paint. Broken panel on the interior rear hatch. Back seat release buttons on seatbelt filthy. No floor mats. None of the previous owner phones had been removed from the memory. Engine coolant was low as per the cold fill line on the tank. After pointing all this out, our used car salesperson Brooke assured me there was no negotiation on the price of the car. This far in you're pretty much pot committed, so after feeling like we couldn’t back out we made a purchase. What a trip. When she brought out the old title to sign it had the last owner’s signature on it and the lien line hadn’t been endorsed. I asked to see the lien release letter. She rolled her eyes and said that “We can’t sell it without it”, I said “Ok, let’s see it.” I mean, you sell used cars, it’s pretty clear I can’t trust anything you say. Then, Brooke gave us a signed certificate saying out first oil change was free. Of course, that’s conventional oil, Honda hasn’t run on conventional oil in years. So basically, scam city. Finally, windshield came cracked. Have a signed document saying they’d replace it, haven’t heard anything in 1.5 weeks. Also discovered a fog light was out the day I bought it. Called and said they’d replace it when they do the windshield. Good luck. A dealer to stay away from from. Better luck buying a car from abandoned car auction. My used car sale person Brooke sent me a link to this site, I’ll be reposting to the other sites she asked me to review on. More
