My husband and I went into Mid Island and Peter took very good care of us. He is very down to earth and made us feel very comfortable. Not the way one usually feels when dealing with a salesman. My son and I went in last week to purchase a Honda Civic EX. We put down a deposit on the car and applied for financing. We were informed that we were approved the next day. We were scheduled to come into the sign our papers and pick up our car on Monday July 22nd. We had to correct an issue with our insurance card showing our previous address which they required to be updated. I called Tuesday and Wednesday leaving voice mail messages for our financial rep Howard to make another appointment to come in and pick up the car. He did not contact me until Thursday because he said he was off Wednesday. I wasn't sure we were going to be able to come in Thursday evening but I said we would try. Due to other commitments we did not make it in on Thursday. I called Friday to connect with Howard and he was already gone for the day. The front desk told us he would be in Saturday after 11am. My son and I came in with our paperwork on Saturday afternoon to discover that his car was sold the night before to someone else. I AM LIVID! We never received any follow up from either of our two sales people John Clemente and Sam Greene. It was never mentioned to us that if we did not come in within a certain time frame that the car would be put back into inventory. I would have requested to work with someone else instead of Howard who was unavailable to fit our schedule. I spoke with the General Sales manager Josiah Behlen. NO ONE EVER EVEN APOLOGIZED TO US about the extremely unprofessional manner in which we were treated. My son went back today to request a refund. They left him in the waiting area for over 20 minutes. When he went back to the desk to inquire about getting assistance, he was told NO ONE was available to help him. I am sure that they wouldn't make a new prospect wait and ignore their customer. DON'T BUY FROM THESE UNPROFESSIONAL UNCARING PEOPLE. We are finding out now that we are not the only ones they did this to. More
Well just to say this is my second new car bought at this dealership in a year and a half, My salesman was Abe he was awesome, not only did he give me a great deal but we talked about other things then just dealership in a year and a half, My salesman was Abe he was awesome, not only did he give me a great deal but we talked about other things then just cars, the car was for my wife who just came from an SUV Abe told her the differences between the two and the extra features the new car had over the old one.all so had the pleasure to talk to Pete who all so helped us. then after Abe it was off to finance, yep i know what your thinking here comes the evil, Well in finance i dealt with Howard. he took a lot of time explaining our purchase and found a better way to finance our car, it was well past closing time but yet instead of rushing us out he helped us out. just want to say thanks to all the folks we met down there. oh yea i forgot to mention their service department. only one word. After a few hiccups when I picked up my new Hyundai Elantra, Ana Lopez offered me four car detail services. I e-mailed her a few weeks before my first scheduled oil change to set it up, letting her know I needed to have my car back by a certain time. She confirmed the appointment with me and I thought everything would be good. When I arrived, Elwin helped me. I told him I was there for an oil change and a free car detail. He said that would take a long time. I asked how long, and he responded by asking what time I needed the car. I told him 11, the absolute latest was 12 noon. He indicated 11 on my paperwork. He also told me that I needed to get some piece of paper from Ana. I had to go into the showroom, in the middle of their sales meeting, and ask someone about it. They said they would tell Ana. Then Elwin said he would just talk to her later. Why didn't he say that before? So I called the dealer at 11:15, and was told Elwin would call me when it was done. I called again at 12:15, and left a message since noone answered. I called a third time at 12:45, and was told that it was still being serviced, and still needed to be washed, that it would take no more than 30 minutes. I told the girl I would be there at 1 and my car needed to be ready. I arrived at 1:15, and saw my car still being serviced, but by the time Elwin came in, my car was driven away. Elwin acted surprised that it was now 1:20, and the paperwork said 11. He went to check on it and said it was being vacuumed, and would still be another 20 minutes. I was very upset, being late for an appointment. I told him I needed my car, and he just said well, its not done and moved on to another customer. I asked if it would be ready by 1:45, and he assured me it would be, if not sooner. I sat in the waiting room until 1:50! I signed the paperwork and was given the keys, but not told where my car was. Elwin went to get it and when he brought it over, I was even more upset. The car had barely been vacuumed and absolutely not washed in any way. There was still bird poop on the window. When I questioned Elwin, he said they could take it in the back and clean that again. I refused that because at that point, I was two hours late. So basically, it took them 5 1/2 hours to finish an oil change, which wasn't even complete since a complimentary car wash is supposed to be included with an oil change. I guess I will not be asking for my remaining car detail services. No real loss on my part, but I hope my future service appointments are a better experience. That long for an oil change is unacceptable. More

We came in to the dealership on a very HOT day looking for a Tucson!!! We sat in all the vehicles inside the showroom--it was sooo cool inside!! They had a great supply inside to show me!! Patsy then took us outside to see what was out there--He graciously offered to bring all the cars to us!! I knew I would needed to see more than one!! Too make a long story short!! I saw the car of my dreams, with a huge trunk!!--an IRIDESCENT SILVER BLUE PEARL SONOMA ! yes. it's as beautiful as it sounds!! and drives that way too!!! It has every bell and whistle that I could want!! Thank you Mid-Island Huyndai!!! More
