A Dealership That Listens To You Yes, John was very professional, courteous, friendly and concerned about the needs I had for this purchase. I would certainly return and ask for John’ Yes, John was very professional, courteous, friendly and concerned about the needs I had for this purchase. I would certainly return and ask for John’s assistance with my next Hyundai purchase. That said, I am puzzled as to the length of this survey. Only two questions are actually needed…. 1. Was I satisfied with the way I was treated as a customer? And 2. Do I have any comments? Instead I am given a 2 page questionnaire that makes me feel like I should be kissing the ground I stand on and thanking you for taking my money. The bottom line is…. This is a major life purchase, and I was expecting to be treated with respect for my needs to this purchase. If I wasn’t I would have promptly left. In addition, I was called on the phone by a lady representative (didn’t get her name) also asking if I was treated well, yada, yada, yada. I found this annoying. I’ve made 5 transactions with you thus far and would not have come back if I was dissatisfied with your service. If you are wondering how to make my experience better, you can eliminate the overkill on the things I’ve just mentioned. Now, there ARE other improvements you can make…. That is – Why does it take so long to complete a transaction? I have bought several houses and each one took less than one-third the time. I was at your dealership from 1:00pm to 7:00 pm. SIX HOURS!! Let’s break this down: The first hour we had to find a solution to my needs. This involved some decision making after John provided all my options. I don’t think this took even an hour. Then I had to wait and finally…… speak to a lady about insurance. Then I had to wait again…. to speak to Miguel about financing the vehicle. Then I had to wait even longer….. for a lady to take my check who eventually returned to tell me that my check would not process through the machine. I have used those checks MANY times before with no problem, but I admit, they are not made by the bank, but by another company….. so now, John drove me home (to get my other checkbook) and back – This took the last hour. So, aside from the last hour, this deal took 5 hours when it probably only should have taken 2. Now that you have two constructive comments, I would like to ask you a question that I hope you will respond to: Will you reduce or eliminate the overkill questionnaire and find a more efficient way to complete a transaction so a customer doesn’t have to sit there for 5 hours? One more thing…. What’s with the ridiculous need to get hold of my credit-card. Granted, every dealership does it. Every dealership says, “We need it to show you are serious.” That’s so stupid. If I’m there to make a deal. How am I not serious? I don’t get it. I gave it to John “this time” only because I was tired of waiting and he was such a nice guy….. but, please, next time don’t even ask, because I refuse to give it out frivolously. Well, now that I’m done with my rant…. Let me simply say that I will be back to see John for my next car in a couple of years. But, I won’t be filling out any two page questionnaire nor will I sit there for 5 hours. More
