He seemed like the type of guy who you could have a couple of beers with. However, once the sale was consummated my opinion changed 180 degrees as the weeks passed. Phone and text messages were returned but never followed up with the service I needed and expected. I finally had to call the general manager Pierre to resolve the issue of getting a new one. Papa's Dodge in New Britain CT was able to give me a new one which Central Chevrolet paid for. Upon leaving Papa's the service manager told me "we could of had you out of here 35 minutes ago but I never heard from the GM". Pierre's response to a follow up call from the service manager was "sorry I forgot to call you back" Take a ride to Papa's if you want service after the sale. More

Best buying experience ever We as a family have bought 3 used cars in the past 6 months . He set me up with one of his saleman Mike Easton and it got better from there . Mike went over the car with me had it pulled up and went for a test drive new the car and it's options . He was very upbeat and fun to work with. Paper work was done as promised . Met me half way from my house changed over plates sighed all paper work and on my way. Got a note in the mail today from Mike thanking me for my purchase and if I needed anything gave me his cell number. This is how all dealers should treat their customers . General Motors should use this as an example for all their deals . Thanks Peirre and Mike . More
Won't Sell the President Day Deal Car Central had a President's Day deal on a 2014 Chevy Silverado WT1 that had a MSRP of $27,0000 and in their Ad they had 2 on sale for $19,999. When I w Central had a President's Day deal on a 2014 Chevy Silverado WT1 that had a MSRP of $27,0000 and in their Ad they had 2 on sale for $19,999. When I went in at 11am to ask about a truck, I was told that at that price of $19999 that the Truck was USED. (if they would ask a Sales Manager they would know that the Truck was New) So, I left and then received a phone call at 12:45pm. Saying that the Truck is new. I told them I would be in in a couple of hours to test drive the Truck. At 3:45pm, I get to Central Chevy to test drive the truck. The sales person said the truck was ready to test drive. It was not the Red One in the Ad, that sold (the truck from 3 hours earlier.....) But, the Ad said they had 2 at $19999. So I test drive the truck. Then we worked on a tradein for my car. At Sarat Ford, I was offered $1000 for the tradein. At Kia of West Springfield I was offered $1200 for the Tradein. Central offered $300, yes $300....... i said no, and started to walk. He than said $1000 for the trade. And asked if we had a deal. I said Yes. Then all of the sudden.................... Then All of sudden the $19999 Truck was then raised to OVER $21,000. (in other words, if they can not get my trade for $300, then the cost of the truck went UP. And I was told the $19999 sold and this one cost more. even though the MSRP are EXACTLY the SAME and the AD said 2 were available at this price. So, one again I walk out. Get out the door. And the sales manager follows me. We talk and he said to come back inside and we can work out a deal. The deal was for a $30000 MSRP Truck for $21,500 with a $1000 . So they were able to get and extra $1500 out of me for a truck with a higher trim level.) It is an Awesome truck, but for $1500 more.............. 20 minutes go by and no paper work to sign. I have been at the dealership for 1hour and forty five minutes and was LATE for Work. So I told them I had to go and left and would be back later. So, I go on my computer and that is how I find out they have not 2, but 6 Trucks at the $27000. And I can not Afford to pay more than $19999 for the Truck, So, I will not be going back to Central Chevy. They keep changing the DEAL. Why did they Change the Deal to get $1500 more out of me that I do not have. More
On Dec 10, 2012 I visited Central Chevrolet to find a truck that was suitable for transporting horses. They did not have one in stock with my description but said if I gave my credit card they could find truck that was suitable for transporting horses. The next day they put a $500 charge on my card without my signature or permission. I didn't find out about the charge until I received my credit card statement. About 6 weeks later they found a vehicle. It had extremely light colored leather seats! I told them I need dark interior because I have a dirty job working on a farm with horses, dogs etc. The truck was not suitable for my business but they refused to refund the $500 they took from me. The Attorney General and Discover Card assisted in getting my money back. Do not go to Central Chevrolet! They are dishonest and don't care about the customer. Do yourself a favor and chose another dealer. More
I was looking for a 2010 used chevy truck or new leftover on autotrader.com and found one at central chevrolet in w.springfield. I called and I told the sales person that I could not make it there before the on autotrader.com and found one at central chevrolet in w.springfield. I called and I told the sales person that I could not make it there before they closed on sunday so he said he would park the truck near the service area fence then proceded to give me wrong directions. I was not able to find the dealership that I drove and hour to find. I spoke to the sales department the following week and told them I would leave work early saturday and be there around 4:30pm knowing that they closed at 5:oopm or so they advertize there hours on saturday as open til 5:00 pm but when I arrived at 4:40pm, I got there just in time to watch all the sales staff walk out of the showroom, lock the showroom door, get in their vehicles and drive past me standing in their parking lot. I know that they saw me because I was wearing my work coat that happens to be lime green because I am A forman with the largest employer of union carpenters in the country. Most carpenters drive trucks as I do. I just though that I had to give my review and share my experience with Central Chevrolet of west Springfield Ma. to anyone that might be thinking of buying a vehicle from them. I was able to find a chevrolet dealer that was willing to stay open after hours for me and now I am driveing a new 2012 chevy silverado J Fuller Leominster Ma. More
i went to inquire about purchasing a pre owned vehicle.i let the salesman roger know my credit wasn't up to par,,but!!i had cash he insisted on financing now they run my credit,and i owe a bank 103.00 dolla let the salesman roger know my credit wasn't up to par,,but!!i had cash he insisted on financing now they run my credit,and i owe a bank 103.00 dollars so obviously the credit part didnt go through..totally ignored the next day by roger westbrooks..so i call down there a gentleman talks to me says he'll look into it,takes my cell number says he'll call me.totally blows me off no call absolutely no courtesy to call me back.wow!!!talk about customer reps,huh!on top of that he doesnt even give me my registration from my old vehicle back,so now i have no registration in my van,i would assume thats my fault too..very very insulted,read these thank you letters in the lounge area,bet you they don't post this one,,burns me up,death in my family left me cash..and they ignore me completly.they will know who i am More
