We bought our 17 year son his first car, a used 2016 Kia Forte from Central Kia of Plano. He had driven it less than 800 miles when the engine failed. Central Kia would not return my calls, would only Forte from Central Kia of Plano. He had driven it less than 800 miles when the engine failed. Central Kia would not return my calls, would only tell me to have it towed in with no assurance they would work with me to replace the engine. I am now having to spend over $4000 to have a remanufactured engine installed at another mechanic. Do not spend your money on a used car from this dealership. They even removed my post from their Facebook page. I will say that we bought the car used, as is with no warranty, but was not aware the Kia 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty did not apply. I will also say that car should last longer than 800 miles. More
