I went to Century Dodge looking to buy a 2013 Jeep Wrangler unlimited to surprise my wife. I planned on trading in a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer. The salesperson I dealt with was Mike Fahey. After test driving two vehicles and spending quite sometime talking with Mr. Fahey I asked that he have my Mercury appraised so we could begin working on the numbers. The sales manager looked over the vehicle and provided the figures to Mr. Fahey. Mr. Fahey suddenly became very secretive around me. He had a red folder that he was very careful not to allow me to see any papers inside of it. He advised my trade in was worth $8300.00. Having already done the research and knowing the price was low I asked the reason for the low price. He stated, "that's what we think we can get for the vehicle." He then discussed some numbers for the new vehicle. Eventually I asked to see the appraisal sheet for our Mercury. Mr. Fahey advised he was not allowed to show that to him because his boss would not let him. As I got up to walk out, refusing to do business at that point, Mr. Fahey acted as though he was doing me a favor by then showing me the appraisal sheet. Written at the bottom of the sheet was $8700.00. When asked why he only offered me $8300.00 he advised he was trying to make a few extra bucks. Needless to say, he did not make any money off of me being I walked out at that point. More

We ordered a Dodge Challenger from Century and our salesman was Michael Finn. The process was so pleasant and painless that it dispelled my stereotype of car salesmen. Of course this all happened during the bankruptcy of Chrysler/Dodge and we had to wait and wait for the car. Our salesman regularly updated us on the progress. At one point it looked like the car was mysteriously going to be delivered to another dealership quite a distance away, but our salesman and the general manager hit the phones, got to the right Chrysler person and redirected it back to Century. Century did their job excellently. More

Not exactly service but a parts counter experience. In November 2007 I stopped by to order a rear taillight assembly. The gentleman at the parts department was friendly and professional. I tend to spend more when people are nice so I ordered front floor mats. When I picked up the items I purchased wiper blades. The same man was there and even offered to put them on for me. He was considerate enough to know I would have trouble as it was a 4wd and I didn't have the reach. He carried the mats out and put the wipers on. BTW - I did not buy the truck from them. More
