I have used Chalmer’s Quicklane four times since moving to Rio Rancho. Brakes, drive train service, and oil changes. Customer service with Lance is first class. I went in January to get my shaking car looked at. My original advisor, Trevor, was out on parental leave. Congratulations. I had a different advisor, Mel?, help me with my car. He calls me, says that my rotors need to be turned. I approve the repair. 2 months later, the same issue is back. I take the car back thinking that Ford does a 90 day warranty on their work. I'm told that my rotors NOW need to be replaced. I researched the resurfacing of the rotors and they should be within a certain tolerance to be remounted on my vehicle. That should have been cleared before putting them back on my car. I ask if I will only pay for the rotors and NOT the labor (which I was happy to do since it had only been Since January). I'm told, no, I will ONLY get a $95 discount on a $500 repair. I have not had such a bad experience at Ford before. I thought they stood behind their work. I'll go to another Ford house for future repairs/purchases. More

Took my truck to the service department because the heater would blow cold sometimes and it needed an oil change. They told me my water pump needed to be replaced, so we get it replaced where there was heater would blow cold sometimes and it needed an oil change. They told me my water pump needed to be replaced, so we get it replaced where there was some issues with parts and it took a month in total. We get the truck back, smelling like a cat had been living in it for the past month, and not even a week later find a puddle of coolant in the driveway, we call don chalmers they take the truck back and call us the same night that it’s ready to go and “to be honest they forgot to replace clamp but it’s all good now” (a clamp we were charged for mind you) by the next day the truck is leaking coolant again, I call them again this time I spoke with the service manager Daryl who I expressed my frustration and concern for taking my truck back to them after now 3 times and it’s in worse condition than I ever brought it to them. Daryl apologized and said this isn’t the service he wants from his department and i let them take my truck once again to where they kept it two more days and on the second evening called me saying the truck is ready again, this time the person in the service department gave me a receipt that said they test drove the truck and found no leaks the coolant was at the same level as when they fixed the water pump, but it took them two days to come to this conclusion? So you wouldn’t believe within two days the truck is again leaking coolant more than ever to where my husband calls the service manager again as well as the general manager Andy, who has never returned our calls. BUT to conclude my truck is now at another mechanic shop where they have taken apart the water pump to find don chalmers replaced maybe 10 percent of the hoses that would be necessary in this repair and the hoses they did replace, or took off and put back on where either punctured by clamps or the connector was broken on installation, causing more leaks, they never tested the pressure in the pump or any person with a brain would’ve found the numerous leaks they caused from their “repair” so long story short my truck is more damaged than it ever was before, we gave them $2400 and 57 days with the truck and now are in more for whatever it will come out to with this new mechanic so do NOT take anything you care about to don chalmers!!! More
