I'd like to share with you the exceptional service we received at Don Chambers Ford from their service team. Just before our long time planned drive to Minnesota the A/C went out on our 2010 Fusion wh received at Don Chambers Ford from their service team. Just before our long time planned drive to Minnesota the A/C went out on our 2010 Fusion while I was in line at the bank late Friday afternoon. The prompt next day service we received at Don Chambers Ford by Mike Zeyen and the weekend team was incredible! Not only was Mike able to immediately locate the issue with the fan housing being broken he was able to secure the part and fix the problem the same day allowing us to leave on time for our trip. Outstanding service was exemplified by Don Chambers Ford and Mike Zeyen, he fully understood our needs and met them above and beyond what we could have asked for to ensured that we were able to leave as scheduled. The service team as a whole at Don Chambers Ford and Mike Zeyen are a rare breed and our family is very grateful to them for their prompt and personal attention they gave us, our trip to Minnesota was wonderful and carefree without a worry about our Fusion's performance or our comfort. My experience using the Quick Lane at Don Chalmers for was excellent because my Service Tech, John, was very thorough with explaining the maintenance performed on my Ford Escape. I definitely recommend the Quick Lane for normal maintenance because you will have quality work done quickly and you will be well cared for by people like John. More
From the time my husband and I walked in the door to the time we left everybody was so nice to us. Jackie Sidden helped us with financing and she worked so hard to get us the best deal. The Ford team moved heaven and earth for me to get my dream car. Please note this review is in regards to the service center only. We have purchased a vehicle from Don Chalmer's in the past and had a positive experience. With that said, we were incredibly disappoin center only. We have purchased a vehicle from Don Chalmer's in the past and had a positive experience. With that said, we were incredibly disappointed in our recent service experience as it relates to my elderly mother. While we were away on vacation, her car began leaking oil. Had we been home, my husband would have handled the problem. As he wasn't, she took her car to the service department at Don Chalmer's. They told her the seal was leaking, told her it would be a $600+ repair, but that it would be under warranty for a year. She went ahead with the repair. Within a week, the car was leaking oil again. As it was under warranty, she brought the car back. To our surprise, this was a "new issue" thus was not under warranty and she was quoted $1,000+. Livid, we said we'd take the car for a second opinion. Thank goodness we did. Brought the car to another automative repair shop. They diagnosed an o-ring leak and quoted $86 (not missing a zero). She went ahead with that repair and has not had any further problems. Several days later she received a follow-up customer service call from Don Chalmer's to whom she explained the situation. The individual on the phone said she'd talk to the service manager and get back, but never did. Considering the circumstances, a very shameful experience. More
Gary met us on a Sunday - walked us thru their lot - took some quality time to make us feel comfortable. We felt like we'd known Gary for years & introduced him to our Son - 8 hours latter he completed some quality time to make us feel comfortable. We felt like we'd known Gary for years & introduced him to our Son - 8 hours latter he completed the sale of a new F-350 S/D truck - the one our Sin had been searching up & down the East Coast for over 4 years - he had to come to Rio Rancho & Gary to locate! Gary was with him every step of the process. He is 25 years old and this is his first new Vehicle - Gary took him thru like he was Family. We have purchased 11 Fords in New Jersey over the years and were concerned we'd not locate another Dealership we could feel comfortable with. Don's over all operation and Gary's Salesmanship is an unbeatable combination. Safe to say - we have found a Home! Thanks Gary! Jim - Diane - Brendan More
