My wife and I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited from Champion Buick GMC in Brighton on August 25th. The buying experience itself started off great. Brad and David were friendly, genuine, and truly made us feel taken care of during a time when we really needed a vehicle. For that part of the experience, we were very appreciative. Unfortunately, the issues began after the sale. About five weeks later, the truck overheated. When I opened the hood, I found a basketball-sized nest, chewed plastic, and scratches on the washer tubing. The truck never sat idle—we drove it every day from the moment we purchased it—so this wasn’t damage that happened while the truck was “sitting,” as the dealership later claimed. I also discovered that the washer bottle, which the dealership had replaced before sale (due to leaking), was still leaking from the tubing onto the cooling-fan harness. The bottom mounting bolt wasn’t installed (leaving me vulnerable to future leaks from friction), the hoses weren’t replaced, and the corrosion caused the cooling fan to fail. I was able to get it working temporarily, but the issue returned, and we’re now stuck with an overheating truck that we’re still making payments on. What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of support when we reached out. We ran into Brad on October 25th, and he genuinely tried to help and asked us to bring the vehicle in. But when we did, Michelle decided the dealership wouldn’t touch it and had someone else deliver the message. This was disappointing after being told we would be taken care of. We also later learned the truck was sold with an outstanding recall that had been open long before we ever inquired about it. I’m leaving this review not out of anger, but to help future buyers. The sales experience was pleasant, but the post-sale support and the quality of the pre-purchase inspection left a lot to be desired. If you’re purchasing a used vehicle from here, be extremely thorough, ask questions, and inspect everything carefully. More

Bought a used car with a warranty from them. They purchased car from a salvage yard in California and will not stand behind the warrenty. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read this before making your decision to buy here! We are now on our second lease with Champion. The first car went off without a problem. The second car a completely different s decision to buy here! We are now on our second lease with Champion. The first car went off without a problem. The second car a completely different story. After being in our new car for less than a month we started having transmission issues. I was not very happy about this but understand things happen. They “fixed” the problem only to have it occur again within a month. We are now on our fourth time having transmission issues where the car won’t even start. The car is for my wife and we have two small children. I have no faith in the vehicle and told Champion that I don’t want my wife, four year old and two year old being stranded somewhere with a new car that doesn’t work. I asked for them to get us into something different. After waiting two weeks to hear back for pricing on a new car it was nowhere in the ballpark of where our current lease is. After asking if they could to do better to make this situation right they have ghosted me and I have not heard back from sales and management has not returned my calls. Again the first transaction with the lease went great but I say businesses show their true colors when they our faced with difficult situations and how they help their customers at that time, not just when they’re trying to make a sale. EXTREMELY disappointed and won’t be returning. More

Do not buy from here! I bought a vehicle, 2015 Equinox, from here, for my son and literally on the way home from the dealership, a “service tire system” light came on. I immediately called and sent an email to our sales representative, Colin, only to be told to check the tire pressure. We did of course, all pressures were fine, but the light was still on. I simply wanted them to check why the light came on, to make sure it was nothing serious, out of concern for safety, but was told a diagnostic test would be $100. I was also told the sensor light that came on was not a “safety concern,” and did not affect the “ drivability of the vehicle” so the was nothing they could do, and the purchase was “as is.” It is absurd to me that they could not look into the reason why the light came on, 5 minutes after leaving the dealership. If a sensor needs to be replaced, I would have been more than happy to pay for it, given it was an older and used vehicle. The mere fact they would not even look into it, without charging $100, is inexcusable. It seems once you make your purchase, they are done with you and that vehicle. Horrible customer service. Will not be returning nor recommending to anyone! More
