My son and I have been working with the general manager for months on our deal and I have to say they are by far the worst. They run your credit and for weeks give you no answers or communication. Then was for months on our deal and I have to say they are by far the worst. They run your credit and for weeks give you no answers or communication. Then waste your time to go up there only for the GM or the person you are told to see he can't even assist you. We were told we had an approval and to pick a car and when we did they ghosted us. Wasted credit inquires and time. We thought we were in good hands with the GM Alex Sobalvarro. Then he gets snappy when you ask him questions and talk by email. Well it shouldn't matter if you purchase from home or in person you guys wasted so many weeks and months of me and my son's time. How can you be a GM for a company despite you saying you don't have time to communicate and then tell us to come in and you are never there nor will you respond to our emails. Then the finance director is never there and the personal assistant Elan Ritter who was helping and is his right hand man to Alex won't even respond. No wonder you guys have terrible stars. I won't be purchasing or sending anyone to their location and I hope this review helps others who are going through the same thing. More
This dealer is scamming and shady, they will find anyways to get over on you. My experience with them has been awful. They added ad ons that weren’t on the vehicles. Then I complained got half of the add on to get over on you. My experience with them has been awful. They added ad ons that weren’t on the vehicles. Then I complained got half of the add on off but they required SWAT TRACKER 1000 extra turns out add ons aren’t a requirement by law. But they made it seem that way, after they took of everything but their illegally required SWAT ME add ons my payments went from 466 to 510. Turns out they made the interest higher to make that money back. They were nice until I complained then they rude and condescending and lying. My approval was done at a certain rate and approved as soon as I complained about being charged for something that wasn’t even on the vehicle days after I signed they made the rate higher. From my experience Chapman dodge jeep tries to scam you then retaliates when you bring up their scams. They have bad reviews. But on google there is either horrible reviews then a flood on good reviews that have a pattern and seem inorganic. What a scam! More
Service department is top notch, sales not so much. I came in to buy a used car that I found on their website. We drove it, talked numbers, then asked about removing the “optionals” such as SWAT I came in to buy a used car that I found on their website. We drove it, talked numbers, then asked about removing the “optionals” such as SWAT and REDD. Sales Rep explained that they were part of the price, and are listed on the website if you click the little i or go into price breakdown, and they could not be removed (even though they say optional?). Despite saying that we were going to walk, they still refused, so they didn’t get the sale from us. Don’t expect to get list price, look behind their buttons. Their list price, at least for us, was a lie. More
DO NOT GO HERE. I’ve had 4 years of bad experiences, due to lease requirements needing to go back to this dealership. They will kiss your shoes to get you to buy, an I’ve had 4 years of bad experiences, due to lease requirements needing to go back to this dealership. I took my Jeep gladiator to Chapman Chrysler Jeep for a coolant leak. They charge me $451 but didn't secure the hoses or proper Fix the issue. two days later it overheated again after being ignored the fir coolant leak. They charge me $451 but didn't secure the hoses or proper Fix the issue. two days later it overheated again after being ignored the first time. I finally got a follow up and they wanted to charge over $750 for a more repairs. I ended up checking it myself and found the issue a leaking reservoir. I replaced it it myself for $60 and fix the problem. No other leaks. Poor communication sloppy work. And zero accountability I won't be back. More
One-Star Review for Chapman Chrysler: A Nightmare Experience I wouldn’t wish my experience at Chapman Chrysler on my worst enemy. This dealership’s practices are not only unprofessional but borderli Experience I wouldn’t wish my experience at Chapman Chrysler on my worst enemy. This dealership’s practices are not only unprofessional but borderline criminal. I was initially excited about purchasing a used truck from them, but the entire process turned into a complete disaster. First, they inexplicably nixed our deal agreement at the last minute, leaving me blindsided. When I understandably decided I no longer wanted to move forward with the purchase, their staff had the audacity to act upset, as if I was the one being unreasonable. Their customer service is an absolute joke—zero respect for the buyer. To make matters worse, they crashed my trade-in vehicle and had the nerve to deny any wrongdoing. They blatantly lied, claiming I brought the vehicle to them in that condition, despite it being in perfect shape when I handed it over. This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is infuriating and, frankly, feels like something out of a scam operation. Chapman Chrysler’s shady tactics and complete disregard for integrity make them a dealership to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. I’m still dealing with the fallout from their incompetence and deceit. Absolutely deplorable. More
I am giving a one star solely due to how wonderful Yessica was during the sales process - if it was not for her and if you could leave no stars, I would. Aside from that, I spent 5 hours at the dealer Yessica was during the sales process - if it was not for her and if you could leave no stars, I would. Aside from that, I spent 5 hours at the dealership to finalize the purchase of my new Jeep Wrangler on Monday. Now 3 days later I am sitting at the dealership because "they messed up the loan." Now I am being told to either put down a significant downpayment or downgrade to another car. Jacob the sales manager called me today and was nothing but unprofessional and short on the phone. Now, sitting here, I am being treated like an insect as I will not downgrade and am telling. them I want my trade-in back. Word of advice, come in during banking business hours as they like to over promise and under deliver or just go to a car dealership with integrity. More
Went in with bad credit they ran my credit and then approved me for in house financing and told me how much I need to put down and my monthly payment. I did that and also went in to sign all the contra approved me for in house financing and told me how much I need to put down and my monthly payment. I did that and also went in to sign all the contract papers. Was told had to wait a couple days to get the truck before it had to go through inspection I said ok. So next day my sales person told me now the bank wants a co-signer! After signing all papers and putting my down payment. 3 days after I spoke with the manager and he told me I needed a co-signer and I explained to him I was approved and signed everything already. He said well in order to drive off with the truck you need co-signer. I went in and got a refund let’s hope it actually shows up in 3 days!!! I have never ever gone through something like this usually when I finance a car they tell me before I sign anything what is needed!! Waste of 3 hours of my time and this dealership is the worst I’ll keep just going to Chevy for my vehicles. Very unprofessional and doesn’t know how to earn a customer!! Beware if you go there as they will tell you one thing and then say the bank didn’t approve you!! More
I was 58 yrs old when I purchased my first brand new car. I am sorry I purchased it through Chapman, worst buying experience ever. I had buyers remorse and tried to give the car back within the week, they would not take it back, they said once the edrs is submitted they can't take the car back. Within the first year the car was having problems. Spoke with the dealership, it was given a web upgrade. That was a short fix. It had two more web upgrades at an oregon dodge dealership. The more problems I had the more I called chapman, they offered me a 2018 ford escape with 80k miles. I have messages to the BBB, the fca and calls and emails with Joe Vaughn, Don Hamrick, Christian Pagan etc etc. They were going to and continued to do nothing. My car barely had 20k miles and the lane assist was not consistent, the fob and the car did not communicate, the sunroof does not close properly, currently the car has 41k miles and the transmission is slipping. The dealership offered me gap insurance as a birthday present, but I was charged for it. The warranty that was purchased I tried to cancel at 18k miles they ignored me, and it was not refunded. I was overcharged and took them to court, they demanded we do arbitration, they kept putting it off and putting it off until the bill for arbitration was more than what I was asking. So they asked if we could take it back to court, I decided to go ahead and let them have it decided in court, what I should have done was continue with arbitration. They overcharged me and all that happened in court was nothing, I signed the contract, so I lost, they got away with it. More
I was lied to, scammed out of 10k dollars and then more when I canceled the warranty. The page in my contract for gap insurance I'd not signed by me, but the dealership has a copy with my signature on it. when I canceled the warranty. The page in my contract for gap insurance I'd not signed by me, but the dealership has a copy with my signature on it. My very first brand new car is a lemon. And I have the worst dealership in the US to deal with. I am having to go through arbitration and I showed their attorney the math error. She swore to me that the math is correct. I am thinking in whose world is it correct- Chapman's More
