Dear getoutadodge, After reviewing your write up sheet all the repairs that were completed on your vehicle were discussed prior to the repair and actually at the onset of your visit on the service drive with the service advisor. Your signature on the write up sheet confirms these items were discussed initially, and I am not sure where the miscommunication comes in regarding authorization. Regarding the recommendations in the owner's manual, our conditions here in Arizona are considered “extreme conditions” based on our master technicians experience and guidance from Dodge. Because of this, the recommendations in your owner's manual may not coincide with the "real world" experience of extreme conditions here in Arizona, it is not unusual or out of line for that service to be performed at your mileage. Unfortunately, as you discussed with the Service Manager yesterday, Chrysler had an unexpected problem with the computer system needed to perform the recall.
