The beginning of the Chapman Auto Group dates back to the mid-1930’s when Roy V. Chapman Sr. started selling used vehicles from his gas and oil station. Roy V. Chapman Jr. (current retired chairman of the Chapman Auto Group),served in the Navy and fought in World War ll. When he retired from active duty, Mr. Chapman went to work at his father’s station from 1945 to 1949. Roy V. Chapman Jr. went to work for John B. White Ford at 6600 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA in 1949 as a sales person. In 1962, Mr. Chapman became the owner of John B. White Ford, until 1973 when he closed the dealership and moved to its present location (Chapman Ford Sales Inc.), at 9371 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia PA. In 1978, Mr. Chapman purchased his 2nd dealership, Chapman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Springfield, PA. Ever since I purchased my Explorer 5yrs. ago,my experience with Chapman Ford has always been a positive one. Love the Shuttle Service when I needed it more than a few times in the past. Never had a negative problem with anyone. Last time I had my Explorer in for service, I had a positive experience with a service advisor named Loretta Antorino who went above & beyond for me! More

I just completed the purchase of a new Ford F-150 at Chapman Ford tonight and on the way home I think I fell in love again. Ralph Schnitzer made my wife & me feel at home & as if we were talking to a fr Chapman Ford tonight and on the way home I think I fell in love again. Ralph Schnitzer made my wife & me feel at home & as if we were talking to a friend of the family. This is the second new car that I have purchased from Ralph; I will never go to anyone else. I was a GM guy but not anymore - goodbye GMC, hello Ford F-150. Lastly, I would like to say that it not every day that the owner of a company takes the time to go over everything with you in a warm, enclosed facility with your fully-detailed, gassed-up new vehicle. Very very high pressure sales people. Sales person got very angry and insulted me because i couldnt do the deal the same night. I was unprepared and didnt bring my title with me.
