This dealership (Chapman) recently acquired VW models from another dealership that had to close their doors for business (Northeast Auto Outlet) and as a result, I do not believe the sales staff had an o from another dealership that had to close their doors for business (Northeast Auto Outlet) and as a result, I do not believe the sales staff had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the functionality of the particular VW model I purchased. Fortunately, a very friendly & helpful gentleman in the service department was available to show my salesman how to operate certain features of my new vehicle. I love my car and I am very pleased with the customer service that Hank Becker provided & how he went above and beyond to satisfy my needs in securing my business. My only complaint and/or observation were that the majority of dealership's staff were not very welcoming or friendly almost as if we were not acceptable customers for their dealership. My husband & I tried not to take it personally assuming it was perhaps a bad day for everyone until we had to return on separate occasions to encounter the same cold/dismissive environment feeling that they only tolerated our presence/business to capitalize on the sale. Perhaps just their personalities, but we didn't particularly care for how it made us feel or the impression we have overall going forward. Again, Hank Becker & the kind gentleman in the service department were exceptional in providing outstanding customer service & appreciation for my business. More

When my classic Mercedes died, I wanted to lease a new Lincoln, but did not have alot of time to spend. I was shown choices given options, received the advertised lease program and then the dealer/sales Lincoln, but did not have alot of time to spend. I was shown choices given options, received the advertised lease program and then the dealer/sales rep located a 2011 model at another dealers (2011 models had the special lease program) in the color and interior with the options I wanted. From arrival to pickup took a day, and the rep spent almost an hour showing me how to use the car's features and the Sync system. A very good experience. More

Got a great deal on a new 2011 Tiguan. Got what I asked for with trade in vehicle. I bought a new VW GTI on the Internet working with Paula Carlin who was extremely helpful. I was looking for a fair price and I needed to have a car by a particular date. Chapman had only recently received Carlin who was extremely helpful. I was looking for a fair price and I needed to have a car by a particular date. Chapman had only recently received the VW franchise but this was a very good experience so if my purchase is any kind of guide this dealership should do very well. I had contacted several other dealerships on the web but Paula at Chapman was one of the only people who listened carefully to what I wanted instead of giving me the runaround and the usual sales lines. The transaction was very professionally handled and the price was a good one. The combination of the good price and the attentive and efficient service was what made me decide on Chapman. Other dealerships offered a good price and several sales people were pleasant and efficient they wouldn't guarantee that a car would be ready when I needed it. Others offered a *best deal* thousands of dollars more than Chapman's quote. Some were rude and/or thought I was stupid and/or an easy mark. Paula, on the other hand, gave me a good price at the beginning, was straightforward about the transaction and kept me well informed as the car made its way from the factory in Germany to the dealership. Mike O'Brien handled the delivery of the car on the day I picked up the vehicle and was helpful in going over the car's features. I'd try Chapman again if I were buying another car. More
