The invoice details were not as I told had Angel when i dropped off my 2015 Chevy Camaro. I advised Angel that I was hearing a grinding noise when I press my clutch and that I needed an oil change. The inv dropped off my 2015 Chevy Camaro. I advised Angel that I was hearing a grinding noise when I press my clutch and that I needed an oil change. The invoice that Angel wrote up stated "Customer states grinding noise when pressing on clutch and when going into gear, vehicle will not move when in gear and have to rev high to move, check and advise." This was a false statement as I had no problems putting my car in gear, I drove the car into the dealership, and I never had to rev my car in order for it to move. When I called for an update on my car later that day Angel advised me that my clutch and transmission went out and my parts were discontinued. This was definitely not the case. I retrieved my car the next morning and on the diagnostic invoice it stated "transmisson has counter shaft bearing noise and clutch is worrn out." I took my Camaro to a licensed and certified mechanic who was able to replace my clutch plate, a bearing in the transmission, and perform an oil change. As a long time Chevy customer I am highly disappointed in the fact that Angel lied and the next step he would have pursued would have been for me purchase a new car if I had not known better. More

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this dealership and will not be returning. I brought my 2023 Silverado in because of transmission issues. While driving at a steady 40 mph, the RPMs were dealership and will not be returning. I brought my 2023 Silverado in because of transmission issues. While driving at a steady 40 mph, the RPMs were staying above 3000, which shouldn’t happen—the truck wasn’t shifting properly. The problem persisted long enough for me to record a video to show the mechanics for an accurate diagnosis and repair. After trying a few things myself without success, I scheduled an 8:30 a.m. appointment for the transmission to be checked. Upon arrival, I spoke with Tyler, who initially seemed helpful and caring. While checking me in, he ran a scan that showed about 10 electrical and speaker-related codes. He suggested these were likely from aftermarket work, which confused me because I’ve never had any aftermarket modifications done—not even speakers—and all previous service has been at certified Chevy dealerships. When I explained this, he assured me he would perform multiple tests to get to the bottom of the issue. He then told me they would call me on Monday when the truck was ready, as their transmission tech wouldn’t be available until then. This confused me—why make an appointment if I’d have to leave the truck over the weekend? I asked Tyler if I’d need to rent a car, since my son had a baseball game in Soledad the next day and this is my primary vehicle. He said not to worry, they would cover it, and asked me to hold tight while he took care of everything. About 30 minutes later, I was told they had driven the truck around the block, everything seemed fine, and that the transmission not shifting at 3000 RPMs was “normal.” Suddenly, my truck was “good to go.” They didn’t perform any of the promised tests on the codes they had mentioned. I don’t know if mentioning the rental car triggered this, but I regret bringing it up—I feel like they didn’t fully investigate the problem just to avoid covering a rental. It’s outrageous that they would look me in the eye and claim high RPMs at 40 mph without shifting is normal behavior for this truck. It’s frustrating because I’m due for the 30,000-mile service, and now I have to find a new certified Chevy dealer I can trust. More
