As soon as I walked into this dealer I knew I was in for a bad experience. They sat me down at some front desk and take my name/address/etc for some marketing bs. Gave me a thing for some free vacation package that I threw out a few minutes later. They then bring over a salesperson to assist with my sales process. He was ok and I did the test drive, he was knowledgeable about wranglers since he had one. ANyway, then the time came for numbers.. Their internet price has some fine print so not everyone qualifies for that special price they get you in the door for. So he goes to get my pricing and I'm sitting there for over 15minutes. I walked out.. A few minutes later he calls me asking why I left and actually tries to start arguing with me. I politely told him I'm not going to argue about it and I'm thinking that there are about 25 other jeep dealers around driving area I can go to. I did - and bought a 2011 Sahara 4dr - leather interior. Actually costs more than the original jeep wrangler i looked at here at cherry hill dodge. steer clear of this churn and burn shop. they're a numbers place - meaning they wanna crank out sales which is business of course but they should take some lessons from the dealer i eventually bought from - jeff d'ambrosio in downingtown. No surprises or hassle at that dealer - incredibly pressure free and most importantly -a great deal !!!! More
Lets just say that the salesmen in this place are extremely rude. During a visit to purchase a new Jeep I was negotiating with the salesmen. When it was clear I was not going to get the price I wante extremely rude. During a visit to purchase a new Jeep I was negotiating with the salesmen. When it was clear I was not going to get the price I wanted I told him I was ready to walk and come back in the future. He then insisted on making smart remarks to me that they were already getting the car ready and then called the previous salesmen I was dealing with to berate me right in front of me. He went on to say that I was going to live a sad life if I would not negotiate my limit higher to his liking. I will never buy a car from this dealer nor will i ever tell anyone to go there. I understand if they cannot give me the car for the price I wanted and I would have been more than willing to come back to the dealership at a later time had it ended at that. But once my personality was brought into question and I was made to look stupid that was the final straw. More
I had absolutely the worst experience with this dealer. Don't expect a callback anytime you need any assistance. I bought a brand new wrangler in January and the car itself was great, but the customer ser Don't expect a callback anytime you need any assistance. I bought a brand new wrangler in January and the car itself was great, but the customer service at this site was HORRENDOUS. I called the morning after when they opened, the moment I realized i left something in the trade-in (At this time, my car was at the lot considering my deal was right at closing the night before.) I was told to not worry bc they will make sure to have it available when I come in that weekend to sign all the paperwork and give them my current title. Saturday came and went but no key. Each time I asked on its status, I would get some excuse, "its here, we need to find the keys, we'll get back to you", "it's at the fiat dealer", "it's getting detailed", "oh we moved it off this lot", etc but dont worry, we'll shit it out to you. I eventually called a few times over the course of the next month or so to check in, to the point where I, as a customer, felt like I was bothering them too much. I left messages each time and was told they would call me back, but lets just say I received 0 returned calls on all those voicemails/messages left. After the first week or so, I knew it wasn't retrievable, so all I wanted was a small reimbursement to buy a new device of $100 (a reasonable request considering I just bought a $39K car, but once again, no interest in making me happy bc the papers were already signed). To give you an idea on how bad they were with the pricing, Once I agreed to the offers of my deal, a friend of mine was interested in also purchasing a jeep during that same visit. The sales guy offered a trade in value on his 06 rubicon of $4500. When we laughed at that offer, he came back with a trade in offer of $9K, explaining how he was all about "hookin' us up with a deal". Just doing a quick KBB check on our phones showed that a a fair value trade in was at least $13K. The moment they were willing to lowball a customer to that extreme, we should have known better and walked right out. Unfortunately I really wanted a special edition one and that was the only one available in the tri-state area so I sucked it up. To summarize, I personally liked dealing with the loan officer, and the receptionist who had to take my calls. Both very friendly and professional. But for the rest of the staff, managers included, to not have the professional courtesy to call customers back, even to give bad news = worst customer service ever. More
Avoid at all costs. Total bait and switch. Scheduled an appointment to test drive a dodge journey avp. Drive 30 minutes and they dont have one. This dealership epitomizes the "sleezy, game-playing car salesman" stereotype. I went in to look at a used car I had seen on autotrader. I called ahead, and they assured me the vehicle would be availab car salesman" stereotype. I went in to look at a used car I had seen on autotrader. I called ahead, and they assured me the vehicle would be available for test drive. When I arrived, no one knew where the vehicle was, and after numerous delays, and multiple requests for information as to what was going on, they said they sent someone to get it off the lot. When we discussed time with the salesman, and that we only had a short amount of time, the response we got was, "How am I going to do that? What do you think this is? Macy's?" I thought the response was extremely rude, and it was pretty brazen of him to think we'd for sure be purchasing the vehicle, when at this point, they couldn't find it. The man who was sent to get it came back empty handed, saying it was in the back lot, blocked in by 4 other cars. So we walked out onto the lot with the salesman (who lit a cigarette and blew smoke as we walked behind him), and finally found it in the very back corner of the lot (in very cold weather, mind you). Upon looking in the windows, it appeared that someone was living out of it, dry cleaning hanging in the back, coffee cup and drips in the console, various other things in the trunk. The salesman commented that one of the managers must be using it for his own car. We went back into the showroom, and the manager assured us that if we came back tomorrow, they would have it cleaned and ready for us to test drive. I would not have even come back, except for the fact that it was the exact make/model I was looking for. Upon arriving the next day, the car was not out front, and the salesman who we were supposed to meet was not there. We were able to test drive it, after a delay in them finding someone to put tags on it. When we arrived back, we sat and waited, and were shuffled among many different salesman. At the end of the day, they offered a very poor trade in value on my car, and were asking too high a price for the vehicle. I did not buy a car from them and I will never go there again, and will take every opportunity to steer others away from such an disorganized, unprofessional group of people. More
They did not have the car I made an appointment to look at on location. I waited for over an hour for them to get the car. When they finally brought the car over from Moorestown Volvo..it was low on oil a at on location. I waited for over an hour for them to get the car. When they finally brought the car over from Moorestown Volvo..it was low on oil and had a massive oil leak. Car was dirty and had 4 bald tires. I later found out that the car had a motor put in it in December of 2011. The salesman told me it was a trade in..again, later found out it was purchased from a dealership in Pennsylvania (with the blown motor). Worst experience I have ever had. I would not recommend them to anyone..very very dishonest. Funny part is the salesman called me the next day and said, "we can't sell you that car, it has to many problems". If I was some poor guy that didn't know what he was looking at believe me..they would have sold me the car on the spot and let me drive away with it. I traded my 2007 Jeep Cherokee for a brand new Jeep Wrangler 2011 unlimited with 38 miles, signed the papers and drove it off the lot. The Jeep's electrical system malfunctioned 3 miles from the deal Wrangler 2011 unlimited with 38 miles, signed the papers and drove it off the lot. The Jeep's electrical system malfunctioned 3 miles from the dealership. The sales and service managers were horrible to deal with and have been having it serviced at another Jeep Dealership. Six months later I'm still dealing with this hassle and a malfunctioning $37,000 vehicle. Save yourself a huge headache and chose a dealership that will actually care about you as the customer. More
I called CherryHill Dodge on the morning of Christmas Eve, while in route to a dealership in Delaware. I was connected with Morris, who found the vehicle in stock that was advertised on their website. I Eve, while in route to a dealership in Delaware. I was connected with Morris, who found the vehicle in stock that was advertised on their website. I explained to Morris that we had 3 small children(one being a newborn), so our time would be limited but that I was interested in this particular Town and Country only. Morris got an A+++ as soon as we pulled into the dealership! He pulled the vehicle from inventory, had it ready to drive and was even outside to unlock the doors and start it up before we could get the kids out of my car! Morris was very personable and was very acquainted with the vehicle and answered all of our questions. The only problem we came across was that I was given a 1.99% financing rate over the phone, later to find out that this was only on 2011 models. However, Morris and his Manager were able to get me into my budget by adding on 12months and still giving us a phenomenal interest rate! Then they also threw in their protection plan to further sweeten the deal, we have no regrets traveling so far from home to make this purchase. It was a very Merry Christmas!! I would recommend this dealership to everyone!!! More
I am writing this letter to let you know about the horrible experience I have had, and am having with Cherry Hill Dodge. I purchased a 2011 Dodge Journey on May 18. As I was leaving the dealership at horrible experience I have had, and am having with Cherry Hill Dodge. I purchased a 2011 Dodge Journey on May 18. As I was leaving the dealership at 9:30 PM, when all my documents were complete, the salesperson realized that some of my accessories were locked away. Of course, no one would have access to them until the next day. The items were driven to my workplace the next day, which I greatly appreciated. That morning when I was able to take a good look at the car, I noticed on the console that there was a huge scratch. I was told that nothing could be done about it when I called back. On 05-25-11 ran over a nail and got a flat tire on the driver's rear tire. I went to the tire service center and we could not locate the wheel lock key. I had to leave my car there and beg for a ride to work the following day. The salesperson (Gino) was kind enough to have the key sent to the tire service center. In the meantime the technician at the tire center noticed a huge gash in the passenger front tire. He told me that it was not a fresh cut, and that it looked like it had been there for some time. I spoke to Gino and he set me up for an appointment to get an oil change that was promised to me the evening I purchased the vehicle but for whatever reason was not done. I was scheduled for an appointment for the following Saturday, June 4th. On the 4th they completed my oil change and replaced the tire, which took approximately 8 hours. Ron, the sales manager, told me that he would also replace the console or bezel that was all scratched up. I was told to call back on Monday once he spoke to the warranty department. He wanted to make sure he could get a bezel before he set me up with another appointment. He set me up for the following Saturday, June 18th. Two days before my appointment, my reverse camera stopped working. I called again and was reassured that my bezel was in and that they would also fix the camera at that time. I arrived at 9:30 AM, and at 3:30 PM I was told that my car was ready. When I asked them if everything was complete I was told that the bezel was never sent, and the camera was never installed. They couldn’t fix it, they had to replace it. I spent 7 hours at the dealership for nothing. When I approached Ron about this, he seemed oblivious to the fact that anything was wrong. All they had to do was call me and reschedule, I would have been fine with that. To make matters worse, they took apart the dash to check the reverse camera, and they did not place it back on properly. Now the volume and tuning button on the radio do not work without being forced, and I am afraid that the airbag will pop out and hurt me or my passenger. I told Diane in the service department that I refuse to come back to their dealership, considering it is over an hour away from my home. She has been trying to set me up with an appointment at a local dealership (Atlantic Chrysler) that is owned by the same company. Even that has been a nightmare. Between the 2 service departments I keep getting thrown back and forth. No one knows what is going on; each company says the other is ordering the camera. Then I’m told that the camera is at Atlantic Chrysler, I call Atlantic Chrysler and they tell me they have no idea what I am talking about. This whole buying experience has been a total nightmare. I purchased a Dodge Avenger, a Dodge Durango, and a Hyundai Sonata, from Sport Hyundai Dodge, and I have never had a problem there. The only reason I didn’t buy from them again is that they are primarily dealing with used cars now. Because of the experience at Cherry Hill Dodge, I will never purchase another Dodge vehicle. I should have realized that I was going to have issues with them from the minute I test drove the car. Not only did the car “reek” of smoke, which the salesperson told me I was crazy. But as the he was driving us to the other lot, my son was playing with the DVD player in the demo. He pushed the “play” button and to our amazement there was a pornographic DVD in the system. Talk about professional!! I didn’t realize that buying a demo would be such a hassle. From the beginning this demo has had issues and continues to do so. I am at the point where I want to disavow my contract. I would give anything to have my old Durango and my $5,000.00 deposit back! I am sure that my "new" car is really a "lemon". I was reassured by Diane that the manager, Antonio, was going to do something for me for all my trouble, but I’m still waiting. I do believe that I should be compensated for my trouble and for the horrible customer service experience. My next step will be to contact Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. I was contacted by Chrysler Corp and was told that I would be given 6 complimentary oil changes for my trouble. When I tried to use the "free oil change" at a local dodge service center I was told that these were worth only $20 each and no service center would be able to honor them. So I'm back to square one. I asked for my warranty to be extended, knowing full well that I will be having problems with this car in the future but I was told no by Chrysler. NEVER, EVER, purchase a vehicle from these crooks!!!! More
