I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Reedman - lfoley517
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Reedman Toll. I purchased my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica brand new from another dealership and have used Reedman Toll for service over the years. The vehicle is only 8 years old with approximately 51,000 miles, yet I have experienced recurring electrical and mechanical problems dating back to 2021, when I first brought it in for battery and electrical concerns.
I recently paid nearly $2,000 for a starter and fuse box repair. I also paid $500 out of pocket for a rental during the repair. Almost immediately after getting the vehicle back, the same issues returned, including overheating warnings, which were new. The dealership then kept my vehicle for nearly two months, with very little communication. They did give me a courtesy vehicle during this time, but I had to fight for it. I was eventually told that a faulty alternator and wiring were the underlying problems and that those repairs were completed at no additional cost.
Unfortunately, less than five hours after picking up the vehicle that they had for TWO MONTHS, the warning lights returned. The check engine light began flashing (also new), then stayed on, and the vehicle was running roughly. After everything this car has been through, I am seriously questioning whether it is safe to drive.
What has made this experience even worse is the lack of communication and accountability from management. I was told multiple times that the service manager told me he would return my call, but despite repeated attempts to reach him, I still have not received a call back. It's been days. After nearly two months without my vehicle, and $2,500 this is unacceptable.
This is our family vehicle, and I have three young children who depend on it. The thought of putting them in a vehicle that has repeatedly experienced electrical failures and overheating warnings is frightening. This is not simply an inconvenience or a frustrating repair experience. It is a serious safety concern.
I have filed a complaint with Mopar and submitted a report to NHTSA. After thousands of dollars spent, months of frustration, and repeated failed repairs, I still do not have a reliable vehicle or confidence that it is safe to drive. I cannot recommend Reedman Toll based on this experience.
