Do not go to Cheseco RV for service. Dropped my RV for a single repair. Months later I was contacted to pick up my unit. At first glance I saw the rear door ajar and found it unlocked. Upon inspection I found both the stock family room TV and the bedroom TV missing. Further inspection revealed over $1000 of property had been stolen. Contacted the Frederick store and Steve Shapiro to advise of theft. I never received one single reply or acknowledgement of theft. More

My wife and I purchased a Jayco Feather 25RB in June of 2022. Our experience so far has been amazing. We worked with Oliver Parks in Sales and he was great. Very knowledgeable. I have no problem with any employees in sales or service. They can do anything management allows them to do. My problem is with management at the Frederick location. After purchasing our Rockwood 2893BS, we took delivery in December 2021. A short time later we returned it to the Frederick location for warranty repairs. It was there about 2 months during the winter while they waited parts. We picked it up about mid February. After getting it home, on some good weather days, we started loading our stuff from the old trailer we had traded in. At this time we discovered a shower faucet handle and other small parts in the shower floor. Next, in the forward storage compartment we discovered a shattered water filter bowl. It became obvious that parts of the plumbing system had frozen and caused damage. We also found the outside faucet damaged, and the hot water heater still full of water. We did not ever hook the trailer to a water supply and assumed it was simply had not been properly winterized. Upon calling the dealer, the manager "Denna" denied that Chesaco would have applied water to the trailer and would take no responsibility for any repairs. Fine... I believe you...you didn't do it... neither did I...now go to bat for your $70,000 customer and help get the issue resolved! Be aware. If you purchase at Chesaco RV, service after the sale may not be what you can reasonably expect. From the time this problem was presented, they have been unresponsive. Even the manufacturers warranty rep I worked with (Forest River) had the same issue and authorized a mobile RV repair service to make repairs at our home where the rv is parked. Be careful, and be sure to look at other options before making the decision to purchase at Chesaco. More

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! I just purchased a 2021 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2912BS from Chesaco RV in Fredrick, MD on 12 July 2021. I have a great deal of concern as it relates to electrical issues (with water flowing like that). I sent videos to Oliver Parks and the sales Manager (Ron Oliver) and neither of them responded in any fashion: poor customer service at it's worst. I called and requested Corporate Headquarters number, and the secretary said they are not at liberty to provide that-SMH. I'll contact BBB and anyone else for help. It should not be this hard to get simple customer service. During the process of purchasing (purchased outright), everyone at Chesaco RV wanted to chat, but now, it's crickets. More

Don't buy from Chesao. Long story short. They don't stand behind their sales. On our so called walk through, we noticed some things that were broken,  The black water tank was full of s#$t, the TV/DVD did no behind their sales. Nothing was fixed. We requested a second walk through wich we never got. The camper was delivered to the perminent spot without us knowing. It sat there 4 days until we found out it was there. Now they will not fix anything. More

Bought a 23’ trailer in June 2020 & had great & continuing communication with the salesman prior to the sale as he was very attentive to keeping me informed of the status of the negotiation of the continuing communication with the salesman prior to the sale as he was very attentive to keeping me informed of the status of the negotiation of the final & fair price, & delivery. We had excellent service from the Finance Dept rep who was very knowledgeable and efficient in arranging the loan & all of the associated administrative requirements. At the conclusion of that we had an excellent bumper to bumper explanation of the workings of the trailer from the service rep who allowed us to video the more technical aspects. The trailer was missing one small interior component & the female Parts Dept rep was genuinely sorry for the minor oversight & kept us continually informed as to the status & ensuring we did receive it. She was very attentive & prompt to the various emails I sent. Post-sale, we have had to get extensions of the temporary registration due to COVID implications from the state DMV where the trailer is to be registered. Again, the Finance Dept rep has provided excellent communications & ensuring I got the new extensions prior to the old ones expiring. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review is because the building, a converted house, needs a good scraping & coat of paint to be more inviting. More

Avoid this place at all cost. The service department (Ron) will lie to your face. So will the general manager. I called Jayco and caught them in their lies. Bought a at all cost. Bought a new Jayco travel trailer from Chesaco in Frederick and had problems from day one. I waited three weeks before they could look at the problems. Then they lied to me for another three weeks saying they were waiting for Jayco to approve the repair. When I called Jayco they said Chesaco hadn't submitted anything. They had my brand new camper for two months. Now the hot water heater is not working. Chesaco said they can't look at it for six weeks even though I told them what part is bad. I ordered the part and fixed it myself. Two days to receive part and five minutes of my time. I wont buy anything from Chesaco again. Also there is no way to contact the owner of this company. You only get to talk to the paid liars. Do your homework before buying from this dealer. Ask to speak to the owner. More
