Shipping delays have been an issue for General Motors long before the strike and COVID-19. We have actively expressed our frustrations to our GM Rep., whom we have had to call on numerous occasions to get an update on a new vehicle only to learn that the vehicle has been bayed for a post-production inspection. These inspections are completely random, and unfortunately are out of our control. We completely sympathize with you and agree that GM should offer some type of incentive to customers for vehicles that are ordered sold and experience delivery delays. When I had the recall done I called in and made an appointment I took it in for the appointment time and dropped it off and an hour later I got a call saying they didnt have the part needed to fix the recall. I had to take it back a week later. I gave a 4 star because of having to take it in twice. I was very satisfied with the work done and the people it just would have been nice to know that they didnt have the part to fix the recall and I could have just waited to take my car in when the part was in.

In an effort to understand what happened, I met with my service and parts managers to learn more about what transpired. As it turns out, it has been quite some time since we last ordered that part for stock and General Motors now requires us to order them on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, this affects our customers directly by requiring a second appointment to install the part once it arrives. Even though this inconvenience was not the direct result of the dealership, we don't like the inconvenience that it causes our guests, so we are giving you -----> $10.00 OFF your next service visit <---------.
