Wow, this dealer. .. Spoke with a salesman and received numbers to lease an SS Blazer EV. Took the day off, wasted time in traffic (3 hours RT), and the numbers change .. Spoke with a salesman and received numbers to lease an SS Blazer EV. Took the day off, wasted time in traffic (3 hours RT), and the numbers changed when I got there. Bait and switch. Plus, GM is playing games with the EV 7500 tax credit and not putting the credit on top of the "line" and discounts at time of signing like everyone else, but keeping it and saying it helps on the back end (or residual). Well, the residuals still suck and are no different than any other leased car. So, you drive off the lot, and this developmental tech starts massively depreciating, and at the end of your lease, due to GM keeping the 7500 credit, you are stuck with an inflated residual, and a vehicle worth way under it. That means you are immediately underwater if you try and buy it (like I probably would have). They create negative equity this way, or you owe them for mileage overs. Then, the "sales team" lowballs my trade in, while saying I now have negative equity (created artificially by their lowball), even though the vehicle sells for double to triple what they offered, so they come back with these outlandish numbers for payments to put down. They barely discounted the vehicle, while it turns out it was a demo sitting in the showroom for 120+ days of people climbing all in and out of it. The car was scratched up on multiple plastic trim pieces and had 100 miles on it. Hardly "new," yet they refused to work with me on the price to anywhere near what they quoted me, while continuing to waste my time and cost me money taking time off of work. GM runs in my family's blood for multiple generations, and if this is how they treat people trying to switch to a new generation of cars (EVs), then they can xxxx off. Take your business elsewhere unless you like your time and treasure wasted by these jack#$$ people. I do work with leasing and financing of 100-400 million dollar aircraft, so I'm no idiot to these concepts of sales like these people probably thought I was about the process and terms. *The GM reached out and made it worse as he gave me another load of bull and wishes me a good weekend as I sit in traffic for hours to get home. Cassy and the team at Chevrolet were extremely professional, courteous, patient, and were quick to respond to my communications. Cassy has even reached out multiple times after we closed our deal on my car to make sure everything is working and to see if I have any questions. I personally think they drive a hard bargain, but I think it is worth your while to work with the team at Chevrolet of Bellevue if you are in the market for a new or used car. I believe they are taking care of me and they will take good care of you. More
