Purchased a new 2023 Tahoe Premier 04/2023 from Chevrolet of Canton. Always take vehicle back to this dealership for service (oil change / tire rotation) due to proximity of my home. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STE of Canton. Always take vehicle back to this dealership for service (oil change / tire rotation) due to proximity of my home. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP! Last oil change/tire rotation was 08/2025. I purchased new tires and could not find the wheel lock key in my vehicle 03/20/26. Vehicle taken to dealership to have wheel locks removed, but dealer didn't have appropriate "master" wheel lock key and shop foreman not available. I called the dealership on Monday morning and was told "...good news - we can break the lock off all wheels for $370, plus $12.50 for each new needed lug". $420 total! What? For the mistake that the dealership made during my last visit when they failed to place my wheel lock back in my vehicle after rotating my tires. This was the only course of action offered. I immediately called Carl Black in Kennesaw and was told that the issue and how it was handled by Chevy of Canton was ridiculous. They suggested I bring the vehicle to them and they would have a tech go through all their master locks to find the correct fit, An hour later I was at the dealership and speaking with the same person I spoke with on the phone. Fifteen minutes after that, the locks were removed from my vehicle and I was told 'no charge' for the service, time OR the four new lug nuts! They were happy to help me and hoped I'd use their dealership in the future for my Chevrolet/GMC needs. The service associate at CB was honest, did what he said and went above and beyond expectations. NOT THE SAME EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH CHEVEROL OF CANTON. Chevrolet of Canton should take notes. You lost a customer over a relatively small issue - which your dealership created. I hope this review makes it to the desk of the service manager and dealership GM. Good luck, Chevrolet of Canton, I think you need it. More
DO NOT COME HERE! The worst dealership! Bought 80K truck here & had nothing but problems with it. Check engine light kept coming on and they never fixed it (it was cat The worst dealership! Paid for unnecessary & costly “fixes” that never addressed issue. Tech said 2 new batteries needed to be replaced and were defective but they tested Ok & were not defective. Service manager agreed that that was wrong but did not offer an acceptable solution. I guess the money does better in the Dealership’s account? I cannot believe how bad this dealership sucks. Stay away, you were warned. More
We purchased a new smart phone and our attempts to pair/connect it to our Traverse (purchased from Chevrolet of Canton) were unsuccessful. We met Stephen Hall who spent his time with us to successfully pair, connect and demo the various features that the vehicle now had to offer. His patience and communication qualities were outstanding. He was very knowledgeable in his presentation and easy to talk to. Set up an appointment for my new Silverado, there is a loud vibration under the truck bed near the exhaust and something is loose in the back seat. Took a video of the so rep could hear the exhaust sou loud vibration under the truck bed near the exhaust and something is loose in the back seat. Took a video of the so rep could hear the exhaust sound, guy was in a bad mood. His response was nothing abnormal there, probably not worth tech looking at it. So I brought him out to the bay where the truck was sitting and started it up. His response was that's not normal. The issue is he was a complete jerk and attitude was off the chart. Felt like I was a burden and inconvenience to them. Asked to speak with the manager, wasn't much better basically telling me nothing wrong with the truck. At this point I made the decision that no way I would want these folks ever touching my vehicle. Drove to a different service center, they found that the spare tire heat shield was rubbing against the exhaust. Brand new vehicle, and I will not be taking to this place for and service work in the future. Completely unprofessional, uncaring, and worst customer experience I have ever had at a dealership. More
