Do NOT buy from this dealership. They committed FRAUD and we are currently seeking legal action. In February my husband and I spent over 5 hours at the dealership with our 18-month-old son purchasing a 2023 Suburban. We negotiated terms, signed all purchase documents, and left a $1,000 deposit with the agreement that we would return the next business day with a cashier’s check. A few hours later, we received a call that the vehicle had been sold to someone else. Despite having a fully executed agreement and deposit, the dealership chose to sell the car out from under us. When we pushed back they were completely dismissive and unprofessional — instead of offering to make it right or help us find a comparable vehicle we were told by the manager, “it’s just business, don’t take it personal.” It gets worse! When we requested copies of the documents we signed, we were initially told we were not entitled to them because the deal was “void.” (Who knew you could just write “void” on a countersigned contract whenever you want to get out of a deal?!). We were then told we could come in person to receive them, so my husband drove back to the dealership — a 2-hour round trip — only to be refused again once he arrived. After further escalation, the GM eventually sent documents — but: - They were incomplete - They appeared to have been altered after the fact and marked “not fully executed / transaction voided” - They included another customer’s contract with that person’s personal information Yes — we were sent someone else’s PRIVATE INFORMATION. The alteration of signed documents after the fact and the way this transaction was handled raise serious concerns about fraud, as well as how this dealership manages legal agreements and customer data. We escalated this to Chevrolet corporate, where it was taken seriously. Meanwhile, the dealership finally told us they would try to find us a comparable vehicle to make it right (after the higher ups at GM put pressure on them). For months, the used car manager claimed he was “looking,” but never produced a single real option and has since stopped responding to calls and texts entirely. No accountability. No follow-through. No effort to make things right. What should have been an exciting milestone — buying our first family car — turned into a frustrating and exhausting experience to say the least. Between the broken agreement, altered documents, mishandling of personal information, and completely unprofessional communication, we cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. Do not give these crooks your business or your personal information! More

- Friday December 19, 2025 8:00 am - left my car there at 830 Am for repair. Guy said car might be done Monday late afternoon. - Monday December 22, 2025 - waited all day for update. None. I call at 530 pm, guy said car out for test drive, will call me back before closing. Googled dealership close at 9pm. I wait for call, none. I call at 830 pm. Found out guy left work at 6 pm. Operator said talk to Michael Gay supervisor. - Tuesday December 23, 2025 - 10 am. I call and very irate now. Operator would not give Michael to talk. Received text (finally) car might be done Wednesday. 1030 am - talked to Michael and explained my timeline. Said he'd call back for an update. My comments: no updates till I called? 5 business days car service.. Fine... but you mean to tell me my brother who goes to a small family owned auto shop in palos verdes can give loaner vehicles for free but a big corporation dont have that in their policy? That they only have 10, and they're usually unavailable anyway and oh you have to pay for them. Talk about Late stage capitalism. Is customer service an after thought here? (my main complaint). No updates till I called, waiting for a return call for 3 hours because he said he'd do that but apparently guy left for work already. Very irate right now because of the weather. it will be raining All week this Christmas holiday. TLDR: I UNDERSTAND that delays can happen that may be out of employees hands, and I can TOLERATE corporate enxxxxification , but at LEAST give an update and be proactive. Car might be in the dealership for up to 5 business days and I only got an update on the 4th business day because I called the heck out of them? More
Chevrolet of Carson has plenty of interesting inventory and knowledgeable associates on site. I went in for a routine oil change, and the advisor Miguel was super helpful and explained everything I asked. and knowledgeable associates on site. My experience with Juan Franco was very good. He went over what was done to the car and what was needed next. He explained the work and pricing for each item without adding unnecessary work .
